Netflix has now signed a deal with Time Warner for the right to stream shows from The CW network: 1 billion dollars...for the CW?

Hopefully this doesn't mean the new shows, but past CW shows.
Veronica Mars? Life would be complete.

Got into watching Prison Break this week, never saw it when it was originally on, good show. Watch Season 2, but that show really fell apart after that. Netflix just added the movie "THE TRIP" - f'n hilarious movie. Check it out if you're looking for a funny movie to watch.

A funny situation is taking place in a town near me regarding Netflix...A family video just opened and they are outright advertising on their sign that if you cancel your netflix subscription they will give you 10 dollars in free rentals you just have to bring in the documents...Is that even legal?

Hollywood Video did that here. Sounds weird and not a really good deal anyway, but yea I thought the same thing.

If Netflix was based on a contract, I think it would be, but since you can cancel it at will at any time I don't think there is anything illegal about that.

Yea but it kinda sounds like if Wal Mart put up a sign and it said "Cut up your Target card and we'll give you a 50 dollar gift card" or something

The thing that's dumb about that is you rent like, three movies and it's over. Plus, if you're really desperate to get in on this... just cancel Netflix, print out the docs, then re-join.... just seems like a lot of hassle for no gain, to me, though.
