Well, don't mean to brag, but I killed a Giant, all by myself! Level 23 Imperial in Nightingale Armour, using Nightingale Sword and Elven Shield, I used Unrelenting Force to knock him on his ass, sliced him a bunch with my sword, blocked his swing with my shield and got a cool kill where my character sliced his knees so he fell down then stuck his sword through his chin!

my game came!
Gonna start my first playthrough. An Orc, with the stereotypical build that goes along with it. Going to try and get my smithing up high quickly to make some sick armor. Most likely gonna be evil, and not do the main quest. I'll probably live in a cave or something.
In a few days, I'll probably start my first main quest playthrough

I bought it on Friday, but life got in the way to allow me to play it until tonight. Having played this series since Daggerfall, I knew that I wouldn't want to start it unless I could dedicate 3+ hours to the start. I am not sure whether to use a Redguard, Khajiit or Argonian. I play a very unique way that I like heavy armor and like to sneak so I have to choose what I want to use more. I am leaning to Kahjiit, but I am not sure. Any thoughts?

I plan on going Argonian when I get the game. My favorite race. Gunna marry a nice Imperial or Nordic woman though. Have some weird ass kids.

Married the female Companion leader today. She's a helpful wife/companion, plus she's essential. Also, became a Legate. Tempted to make another character called Lanius

So, I'm adventuring about, like I'm want to do...and I roll up on a lone Mammoth. I sneak up to higher ground, and equip my bow, and throw some poison on it. Then just start laying arrows all over that big bitch. I'm only about 6 feet off the ground, but it can't get to me. It starts to run off, and I'm going after it, as it has about 2% of its health left. Then, a giant and another mammoth appear right out of thin air. They start chasing me. Running away, I fire one more arrow, and take down the first mammoth, then haul ass to the mountains. I finally got away from them.

so, the "finishers" for un-armed killings...awesome.
I punched an old lady in the face and then chokeslammed her across the top of a chair. Forgot to save, died, went back and killed her again by punching her three times in the face.

How's this for a laugh:
So I'm exploring with my thief. I'm sneaking by a giant camp with a mammoth there. I'm not seen, when all of a sudden a huge ass ice dragon just appears right the f*** out of nowhere. It seriously just drops down on top of me. It's distracted by the giant and mammoth, so I decide to help them out. Wouldn't you know that they didn't appreciate that? So now, I have an ice dragon, a giant, and a mammoth after me. Did the only thing I could: haul ass. Wound up running right into 2 sabercats. I'm currently facing:
- 1 Ice Dragon - 1 Giant - 1 Mammoth - 2 Sabercats
It's complete f***ing BEDLAM! It's a madhouse. In the midst of all this madness, with everybody hitting everybody else, the dragon dies! I stick around long enough to absorb its soul and HAUL EVERY KIND OF ASS POSSIBLE! I'm out of heath potions. I know I'm gonna die, but I don't want to lose the soul. So I save, figuring I can find some way out of this. I manage to run far enough away that I can fast travel. I did and escaped one of the most impossible battles I've ever faced.

about 8-10 hrs in on my Outlaw Orc Tank. Rushed smithing, so I'm about halfway to lvl. 14 and have a smithing skill in the mid '50s, and the perk to build Orc stuff. Have chest armor, helmet, gloves, and a war ax( accidently made this instead of War Hammer). So, all I need is boots and my WH, and then I'll be a ultimate Orc smashing machine. Gonna spoiler tag the one cool side-quest I did today {Spoiler}So, I was hanging around in a prison, forget which city, and I start talking to this guy, who gives me a ring. Then, he turns into a WEREWOLF and escapes. So, I have to go track down a "legendary creature" that'll help me kill this werewolf. Anyway, so I track down this creature, and it's an elk, but not any elk, because it's health re-charging health. And considering my build has my main weapon being a war hammer, yeah, it was a pain in the ass. Finally killed the elk. Then it turns into a ghost, and tells me where to go. From there on, pretty standard. Killed the werewolf. The ghost turned the WW's skin into armor for me, but I sold it. Haven't even gotten past the second or third main-quest mission. Haven't encountered a single dragon (outside of the one at the beginning of the game). Love how you can play this game literally however you want to.

If you meet a man named Sam Guevenne take him on at his drinking game, you won't regret it.

I have noticed the game does lag a bit when I go outside and I get attacked by something/someone.
Also, I was heading towards some town to do a side-quest when I came across some bandits holding out in a damaged castle. So I start going through the castle taking them down and after I killed them all I slept in some hay. I woke up a few hours later and head up to one of the door ways. I leave the castle and start walking away when I noticed the cursor is telling me to go back through the door. I ignored it and kept heading south. I arrived at the town but had no idea where to go to finish the quest because the compass was still telling me to go back through the door. So I went back, walked through the door, went through the castle, went back through the first door and it was fine. What the what?

Maybe they'll patch this quick. I haven't run into this problem yet. The only thing that went kind of weird, was the other day I was playing, and the game stopped putting the textures on my helmet and quiver.

Son of a B.... just got this last night for the PS3 and now I'm concerned. Kinda wondering if, even though the game has been opened, if I can take it back to the store and exchange it for the 360 version.

Uncovered a minor glitch today that I figured I best share since it's an annoying one.
When you reach Morthal and start the 'Lain to Rest' quest don't quit halfway through like I did (the enemies were too strong so I took time to level up)
The loser who accompanies you follows you around, won't listen to your orders for him to go and wait for you, keeps making bitchy comments about you using magic, stumbles into the way of your attacks and then turns on you and even worse, gets pissy if you 'steal' from a bandit/vampire/necromancer. (By steal I mean pick up any loot on tables and in chests inside their lair) He builds your bounty up and then, if you keep picking items up attacks you and he can't be killed!
It was so annoying having that jackass following me around. It was like going adventuring with your parents. Luckily he does leave once you go back to the quest and finish it. Hopefully, he's stopped been a valuable character now so I can murder his ass (even though I'm playing as good, I'll make an exception for him)

I trigger the animation kill nearly every time now with a power attack.
