The Briscoes vs Davey Richards & Rocky Romero "Undeniable PPV" : Great Match, But i couldnt help thinking that people who critize indy talent for kicking out of awesome finishers too often are quite right. The match was awesome, but how many times can you kick out after a tag team finisher that is probaly banned in Japan. That's the knock I have on every Briscoe match ever. Some many near falls that it drives me crazy. Now to my match, Mistico v. Volador Jr Feb 5th, 2010. This match is during Mistico's run as a heel in early 2010. A typical 2 out of 3 falls match but with Mistico as a heel it feels different and more important. Solid wrestling, an awesome 2nd fall finish and a great ending leads me to giving this 3.5 stars out of 5.

The go home Impact for Genesis last week and it was the JJ MMA exibition. The match/contest whatever furthered his new gimick, JJ got heat and Angle got his too. Success all the way around regardless of what the qrtr hour rating was

Scorpio Sky vs. Austin Aries from last week's NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. I'd say around **3/4-***.
Aries proving once again why he's The Greatest Man That Ever Lived... and it cost him. Some good out of ring brawling, technical awesomeness and high flying. Aries got the brainbuster, and pulled Sky up after 2, then went for the 450, Sky rolled out of the way, and rolled Aries up for the upset pin. The very few fans who were there marked out, as they did for Nick Madrid's upset non-title win over the NWA Champion Adam Pearce.

The Young Bucks vs. 2 Skinny Black Guys from PWG Threemendous II - ****
Awesome fast paced tag team action. Lots of crazy flying, PWG fans turning on the Bucks, and Chuck Taylor being awesome on commentary. A rare time (before TNA certainly) when More Bang For Your Buck didn't end the match, as El Generico broke it up, and then hit the BRAINBUSTAHHHHHHHHHHHH to get the non-title win for him and Human Tornado. Taylor then attacked Generico after the match.

I've always wondered what do you look for in a match when you rate it? I want to see if I'll see something new I never seen when viewing ProWrestling before.

Jericho vs Edge Wrestlemania 26- ***1/2 The crowd being stone dead really hurt this match but the match did have some pretty good moments although their matches together back in 2002 was slighty better than this match

Gimmick Battle Royal, WrestleMania X7.
Just a fun mess of a match. No stars needed. And I was wowed when Doink was eliminated and most of the crowd booed.
(Note: When Michael Hayes came out and Heenan yelled "It's P.S.!", I was half-expecting Ted DiBiase to get up in Michael's face and tell him that the "P.S." stood for "Prissy Sissy". Just a random UWF moment that popped in my head.)

Chris Hero vs. Joey Ryan in a Guerrilla Warfare Match from PWG Threemendous II - ****
Long, intense, bloody hardcore match with sick spots and intelligent working... apart from one time where Hero hits Ryan unprotected with a steel chair to the head. Ryan targeted the elbow, so Hero's elbow strikes wouldn't be as effective, so Hero had to dig deep for other stuff in his collection to beat him. Match also notable for man on woman brutality, as Ryan hit Hero's valet Candice LeRae with the Boobplex onto steel chairs.
Would have been ****1/2 if not for the main fault of the match - it was at least 10 minutes too long. Too much stalling at times.

Chris Masters def. Curt Hawkins via submission with the Masterlock. *1/2
Pretty good action from those two. Masters carries himself in the ring extremely well, and that coupled with his look makes it seem odd that he's not at the top of the card. Not that I think he should be, but a guy that big and strong and athletic floundering on Superstars doesn't make much sense kayfabe. This was the first time I've seen Hawkins as a single, and he was really impressive. He's got a nice heel attitude that comes off naturally. Hawkins controlled most of the match, using kicks and a couple of arm-trap chinlocks to attempt to wear Masters down, but ultimately Masters over comes and locks on his modified full nelson for the duke.

CM Punk vs John Cena from this weeks RAW
WAY better than their first match, these two show really good chemistry and I can't wait to see them square off again. Besides the DQ finish, ***3/4

Chris Hero vs. Roderick Strong from PWG Speed of Sound - ***1/2
How you would imagine Hero vs. Strong to be in your head - lots of elbows, lots of backbreakers, and other fun stuff to fuse the match together. Could have used a bit more spark and variety to be a really good match, but it was a fine match.

Steamboat vs. Savage (WM 3 -IC Title) -I know this is talked about being one of the most over-rated matches in wrestling history and I do agree that it gets a lot of credit it does not deserve but that's another topic for another time I give this match at least *** 1/2 stars; great story-telling but not the best of WM 3, IMO

The Royal Rumble match from 1994. A big mess, it started good with Diesel eliminating guys left and right (The standing ovation he got after being eliminated was surprising) and kept good for another 15 minutes, then somehow all the guys wanted to stay in the ring. Nothing happened except for clinching on the ropes and some minor brawls - and Doink and his flower, but face Doink sucked. The ending was also stupid. Instead of discussing the situation for 15 minutes, why not let Bret and Luger fight it out? I don't think a loss would've been that devastating. I give it **, at least it was better than the Undertaker - Yokozuna crap before.

1992 Royal Rumble ***** Quite possibly the greatest Royal Rumble of all-time, with some of Heenan's best commentary work. Possibly? No it is the greatest Rumble no questions asked. It quite possibly be the best match in WWE history!
