This. Thats the type of people that I can't stand in wrestling. Guys who walk around thinking the whole world is supposed to roll over and hand them whatever they want on a silver platter. Maybe it was having a legend like Andre the Giant and an up-and-coming major star like HHH both roll over for him in 30 seconds that gave him that idea. I don't think money and fame made him an a-hole. I think it probably only magnified traits that were already there. well, to be fair, Andre could barely move at that point, putting him a long match with a frenetic wrestler wouldn't work and the HHH match accomplished its goal, which was to highlight the Warrior, and that only neccessitated a squash.

Didn't really go wrong unless you were a fan. Kinda like the Brock and Rock feelings. They entertained us, left us, and we want them back. Pretty selfish, sure, but they were entertaining. And since they are gone, it's easy to badmouth them for not sticking around and sticking through all the crap that goes on in professional wrestling. nah, they left at the best possible time; better to leave while you're still on top. Leave em wanting more.

I'm not sure I really understand the "he was very smart" sentiment that some of you are throwing around. He held up Vince McMahon for money, got fired and became a major running joke to this day. I would kind of consider that to be the very opposite of "smart". When I think of men in the wrestling industry who were smart, I think of HHH, I think of The Rock. I certainly don't think of Mr. Warrior Warrior.

Wasn't he flogging trunks etc on Ebay which didn't sell due to the stupidly high starting bids and reserves? Pretty embarrassing.

I think all the talk on "where did it go wrong w/ Warrior" proves McMahon's smear DVD on him worked. I suggest looking up Warrior's shoot interview... gives a LOT of insight on his career, and he's pretty mellow and personable during it as well.
