Not really, he called Cena "valiant" at the end of the show. I think it was more defending Vickie than anything else.
I have a feeling Cole's gonna take a few finishers from some people, either at Wrestlemania, or on the RAW afterwards.

I mean, I'm sure I've heard him praise Bryan for his ability and put over the LeBell Lock sometimes.

They need to tone down Cole's overbearing heel tendencies cause it's irritating not amusing.

Now that Cole is pro-Punk and anti-Cena I wonder how many of the "too much Cole, he's annoying" people will be Cole fans. Not me, considering he's no less annoying.

This just makes me wish that Josh Matthews or Scott Stanford would join Raw full-time and call the matches.
Cole has what it takes to be a great heel commentator, but he doesn't need to be douching it up while he's doing the play by play. He needs a better straight man than Lawler to work with.

If he sided with the heels only, I'd have no issues with him as a heel. Even freaking JBL didn't side with heels only.

I can't disagree with him on that.

I enjoyed his Cena comment but seriously, last night was the most annoying Cole has been.
He pissed me off when he wouldn't stop screeching about R-Truth calling Milwaukee, Green Bay. It was a simple mistake, sure I giggled when he said it but it wasn't worth Cole's annoying, whiny little outburst which distracted from the ongoing match.

Hopefully when Lawler leaves (if that's actually in the cards), they'll move Cole into more of a color role and promote Stanford or Matthews as lead announcer.
Was Cena the only "face" left that Cole was still praising?

No he's heeling on Orton now for the "uncalled for" punt on Husky Harris Cole always ends up siding with Nexus, and Punk. Plus, remember Punk was Cole's buddy on commentary, though they didn't agree on everything.

I thought Cole was annoying last week but he was really annoying last night. It's getting to the point where I can't watch the show because of him. On a sidenote I believe that he is the mystery GM.

Really? I enjoyed that part. It was the way he kept going on about it for too long like it was the crime of the century which just distracted from the match. Plus, this is a guy who doesn't know the difference between a scoop slam and a snap powerslam and thinks the Koji Clutch is an Anaconda Vice. He really can't criticise anybody. . . Cole's getting so annoying that he is actually starting to spoil the programme for me. It's a shame because I was a Cole defender in the past. I actually think he is a decent commentator, it's just heel Cole is terrible.

You can tell with guys like R-Truth, Cole is amplifying his legitimate feelings. He is truely annoyed by the "What's Up". Even though he does exaggerate his jerkitude, I find it refreshing to hear him acknowledge things he dislikes in addition to the things he likes or is being told to like. There is a difference between relaying the voices in his headset and amplifying his own emotions. He is doing more of the latter now, and it makes things much more interesting.

Cole last night was a super douchebag. He wasn't smarky nor snarky. He was a giant asshole who was taking attention away from the wrestlers more so than usual.
