as far as the ride is concerned, i think it really only worked the opening weekend, and was deemed as "unsafe" after that due to some technical problem that they never fixed. I worked on the complex every day from 2003-2007 and knew the managers of the WWE store incredibly well. The ride was always running throughout the late spring and all of summer. There were times when they had some technical problems with it and had to shut it down for repairs, but that was a pretty rare thing. I suspect Canadian Niagara Hotels, Ltd lost all the money on this than WWE. I'm fairly sure it was treated like any other business franchise location. WWE provided the products (and talent like, once a year) and CNH sold them on their very expensive property. So I don't think this was a huge loss. If people know the Falls, they know that strip is dying down anyway.... ... but it didn't help that all the merch was overpriced crap.

I went there about 4 years ago. All the merch was about 3 years out of date. I didn't even buy anything but my girlfriend bought a key chain of Stacey Keibler's legs.
