Awwww...........I was really looking forward to getting those. As a fan who was just a mark then, I would like to go back and watch those. I still did like that Raw The Beginning DVD though.....

That's a shame. I didn't buy the first set because I'm broke, but I'm sure I would have enjoyed watching them, no matter how crappy the time period might have been. Same with seasons 3 and 4.
They'd be absolute fools not to release sets of the Attitude era though. 1995/96 I can understand not releasing, but they can't keep the Austin/McMahon/Rock stuff in the vaults forever.

I bought RAW seasons 1 & 2 and that was a pretty good set but its a shame that there won't be more seasons of RAW being put out on DVD same with Survivor Series collection vols 3 & 4

This is why I'm really hoping the Best of Nitro set sells like gangbusters.
If it'll make them money, WWE will be all over it. If not, dropped like a hot potato.

That's a shame. I never did buy the Season 1 & 2 DVD, mainly due to finances, but also due to all the "too much Doink" reviews.
I hope that if/when they release an In Your House set that it sells well and they don't cancel the series part way through...

Man, that really sucks. I haven't bought the first two seasons yet, but I am most definitely still planning on it. It wasn't the absolute best time for the WWF in any sense, but I'd still like to see it if only because it will bring back childhood memories. I hope they reconsider this. The first few seasons might not sell a million copies, but by the time they get to like 1997, the sales will probably more than make up for the first couple of years.

Wow, lots of hating on the new generation era in this thread. I'll just say that any dvd that has marty/shawn, bret/123 kid, perfect/doink, perfect/flair, and shawn/123 kid can not be considered "the worst" of the wwf. Im more upset that the packaging teases us by having pics of flair/santana and 123 kid/jannetty, both of which are probably awesome matches.

It's asking a bit much of your fanbase to support that much clown mayhem. However, there is a hidden gem on there. A 2 out of 3 falls match with Doink challening Marty Jannetty. It's actually really good.

I remember some place saying last week or so that it wasn't outright cancelled, just bumped down the release schedule. I guess that changed.
Stuff like this should really be a shopzone exclusive or something though imo. It's no surprise if the first set did miserably saleswise at retail.

If you want to count the later doink (and why would you?), then he also has matches against corey student and bob backlund.

Really enjoyed the first Volume (considering it was the best of the supposed "worst", I thought it was entertaining as hell) and was looking forward to the next one. Really disappointed in this, though I knew of it a few weeks ago (thank you, WWE DVD thread).
Here's hoping the Nitro set sells like crazy!

Seasons 1 & 2 were the only ones I would have wanted, but it's a shame they won't be coming out for the people that want them.
I still think WWE should make their shows available to purchase by the episode online.

I knew this would happen. I knew it was too good to be true.
If WWE Raw "seasons" didn't sell, you can bet your ass we will only see 1 WCW Nitro set too.
