What's funny is that, even out of shape & needing water, he still beat JoMo last week. After already beating Ziggler right before, both cleanly.

How funny is it that one of their big advertisers a few years back was those TRUTH anti-smoking ads; while their own Truth is in fact smoking.
Ok, it's not that funny, but it's a tad so.

anyway, since when does smoking a fag make you a bad guy? Well, it'd be a hate cr...Nope. Can't do it. Get him back on Cena's good side at least.

You know, if JoMo was better at face promos, I don't think he would have come off quite so dickish.
I mean, That's how me and my friends talk to each other when we're trying to goad one of us into doing something. It's perfectly normal to take a few jabs at your good friends every now and then.
At least, I think that's the effect they were going for. JoMo just couldn't pull it off.

Just watched it.
That was absolutely fantastic. Utterly surreal, and if anything, that just made it even more effective.
That entire segment, for all its nonsensical leaps in logic and opaque motivations and bizarre, rambling dialogue from both guys stumbling over each other, felt real, realler than anything I've seen on WWE since Michaels retired, and I thought it worked phenomenally well.
I'll take that any day over Miz and/or Cena delivering solid reiterations of the same generic pro wrestling promos that WWE/F's been churning out since 1998.

1. Until tonight I hated Truth. The minute he came out there all happy about his title shot I was marking out for him. 2. JoMo is mean First he tricked his friend, then he stole his title shot, then he turned him evil, then he made him start smoking again. Why JoMo why?! 3. At least I now know why Truth's teeth are so yellow.

Honestly, what I really like about this turn is that Truth has a reason to attack Morrison. It's not like he's suddenly a bad guy out of the blue (aka Michael Cole).
This is undoubtedly the most depth he's had since his return.

If you can't smoke on TV in the UK, how are TV writers supposed to show that a character is edgy?

First time Truth has ever been compelling and the heel turn makes complete sense. It was good. Truth will be a fun heel if they let him be.

I was hoping that they would turn Truth back when he was suturing things up and telling Cena to quit during the free or fired storyline, but I'm glad they didn't. This was much better.

I'm gonna be honest, I really didn't think much of the turn or Truth's stuff.
Whole thing came off as awkward, and Truth's heel work really seem to drag. I'll hold my judgement till I see more of it, but I'm not overwhelmed yet.

At first, I thought his character was gonna have sort of a multiple personality disorder, as at more than one occasion, it looked like R-Truth was gonna help JoMo up and embrace him and all that, only to beat him down again. I doubt that's where they're actually going with this, but it'd be an interesting wrinkle on R-Truth's heel turn if they went that route!

How great would it be if Truth just started to do what Family Guy did with this guy randomly throughout the show?

The best "SWERVE" heel turn of the last ten years. Seriously. I rag on WWE (and TNA) quite a bit, but I have to give credit where it's due: That turn was bizarre but compelling and made for great television.
It's just a shame how it takes someone to turn heel in WWE to make them compelling.
