Keep in mind this was "reported" before RAW. Although no clear answer as to who Cena's facing was given, they seem to be leaning towards Truth.
But that also could just lead to Truth getting screwed out of the title match to further his grief. Or maybe a 4-way so everyone's right?
Anyone believe this?

"WrestleZone is the first to report the impending Punk vs Cena feud, and will keep you up-to-date on this breaking story as it develops."
Ah good old WrestleZone, they "EXCLUSIVELY" reported that Randy Orton was going to a main focus point on Smackdown. Where would we be without their insider knowledge!?
..So basically no, I take anything they say as either complete bullshit or something of Captain Obvious proportions.

That sounds so newzy. But given the main event we got on RAW, it's plausible. It was like Truth vs. Rey and Punk vs. Cena.
At this point, I don't mind either of them to step up to Cena. I'm sure I'll be entertained.

Well, it's certainly not Truth who's next. And that's a damn shame.
Punk, sir, is a Rooster from Brewster. (It's just not the same, is it?)

If Cena really is in Punk's corner trying to get him to stay and in a WWE title feud, then I think he's earned his lifetime IWC pass. Especially when you add in the Zack Ryder stuff.
You'll have no choice but to like him dammit!

Ideally, the match at Capitol Punishment would be a fatal four way with the people in the tag match last night.

Cena really is a likeable guy. But the way they handle him is so bad, we tend to just use him as a scapegoat.

It would be hilarious for them to change the name of Fatal 4-Way and still give us Fatal 4-Ways for both titles.
Because Henry and Sheamus could very well add themselves to a Smackdown title match as well.

Well, to be fair, Fatal Four Way was a horrible name for a PPV. The matches were great, and I really liked how they build up the numbers were against the Champion.

With Otungacutty winning the belts, I'm hoping Punk goes onto to feud with Kofi by costing him his title to Mason Ryan. Then after the Kofi feud is done (they used to be best buds as tag champs so there is a history), Punk can move onto Cena to solidify the New Nexus control over Raw, which of course leads to Cena destroying Punk just as his contract expires. Truth should feud with Cena in the meantime.

according to Wrestling Observer, it's meant to be Cena and DelRio building to Summerslam... but who know?

I wouldn't mind Cena vs Punk. Those two put on great matches but I just wanna see Truth vs Cena first. At least for a month or so.

I wouldn't mind Cena feuding with Punk, Truth, or Del Rio. All can put on good matches. Hell, I wouldn't even mind if Cena eventually feuds with Swagger. A lot of good potential feuds for Cena imo.

Didn't Punk dispel the contract dispute rumors? No. All he's said is something like "Heard any good rumors lately".

Cena will resolve to somehow shove Punk up Punk's own Nexus. Though I hope they play up Cena as Hogan and Punk as Savage.
