I don't get Tough enough and how you could have people of different experience levels in the same competition I'm not even sure the people who wrote this up thought this through. First, as you said, there are wildly differing levels of experience. Now I'm not saying that everybody should be green or everybody should have indy experience, but the experience levels should at least be somewhat balanced. They're not. They vary wildly, and it puts some people in an unwinnable position. Second, they expect people to do XYZ, then when someone does XYZ, they seem to get punished for it. We've seen people eliminated for not "taking the initiative", yet we've seen others chastised for showing off too much. We saw Stone Cold make a bottom 3 guy "ask him" why he isn't there, then Stone Cold went off and basically gave an in-character promo as if he was cutting a promo against Vince McMahon. Can you imagine if one of those rookies said that to him or Bill? Yet that's what Stone Cold said to do. It's basically saying "This is what we expect you to do. But if you do it, you're gonna get eliminated." Then you've got things like that hopping over the top rope thing. I can guarantee you that not one of those four could do that, and neither can 98% of the roster. I like the show. But when you really take a look at the structure of the show and what is expected of the contestants, it really does look like a clusterf*** that they're all just winging their way through. People say that, but I don't see it. I don't see where people are put there for doing what they're told, and the comparisons people make to Matt's elimination with, say, the ad libbing in a drill just don't hold any water to me. They pretty much are getting admonished for the same thing, it's that what's being asked of them is completely different in the two cases. There is a wide variance in skill in this, which definitely makes it harder. It'd be better if they made sure the people had similar experience levels, but even with the different experiences I don't think it's that bad. Of course, one of the person with a lot of experience was just full of crap anyways, so if they had people who actually were highly experienced 11-year-veterans than I think it'd be more profound.

Matt was given a free license to show off and he got shown up because he played it safe. Ryan got cut from the technique challenge because he was more focused on selling then technique (the fact that his selling sucked didn't help much either). That's a pretty good teaching method, you look at one specific area to improve on in each session. And it makes perfect sense, especially in wrestling where there are pretty clear cut areas.

I heard she's not all that interested in wrestling, and seems more intent on a career as an actress. From someone on a message board, probably.

I heard she's not all that interested in wrestling, and seems more intent on a career as an actress. If that's true, then that's fine and good luck to her. But I'm guessing it would be a recent development, because why else would she go on Tough Enough? It's not like she needs the exposure, she's Miss USA!!! After watching Tough Enough, it really does seem like she wants to be in WWE. If she puts in the effort (which I think she would) then there's no reason she can't be decent. She wasn't impressive in the ring on TE but that was literally her first few weeks learning. I highly doubt WWE will let her walk away without first offering her a contract. She'll probably be put on the roster right away (strike while the iron is hot with the Miss USA stuff), so make her a valet. Depending on which guy wins (it's not gonna be Christiana or Ivelysiasiiasvyslea) make her their valet. She'd make a good sympathetic valet for a dominating heel Luke.
