Not sure why but Sheamus definitely digs the Newsies look (anytime he's in street clothes he looks straight out of the roaring 20's). He pulls it off well though.

I'd no idea Ireland had its own television stations. Every Paddy I've ever met seems to get the BBC despite that he doesn't pay for the bloody channels and I do. You should be happy, We have to pay for a TV license too, accept we have ads as well.

It's a wonder you put up with that, but I suppose if you expect a broadcaster in a small country like Ireland to live solely off a licence fee and still be able to produce quality television, you're kidding yourself.

I love Sheamus. He has a unique look, can work like whoa, has a genuine respect and appreciation for the business from years of striving to make it, and I think he could be an international ambassador for the company. I love his character so much I actually made a CAW of him on my edition of Smackdown v. RAW 2010 when he first started to catch fire about 18 months ago. Shaemus was the only non-legend or non-fantasy CAW I created with that game.

I like Sheamus and his efforts to protect the business. However, I can't seriously believe that this young Irishman really likes the new direction of the WWE away from the crimson masks of old. I don't give a damn about the boobies and all that rubbish they used to waste TV time with, but I WANT TO SEE BLOOD. Yes! What is up with that guy not wanting to put a blade through his forehead for our entertainment!? I think for a presenter who obviously knows nothing about wrestling, this was a very respectful interview. We've all seen the interviews with people just as clueless as this guy who have gone the easy route, I can see some Irish people don't like him (yeah I prefer Terry Wogan too ) but in this interview he's been very respectful. My favourite thing about Sheamus' casual attire is he looks like he's ready to go golfing. "f*** Rory McIlroy and those Northern pussies, this is what a real Irishman swinging a driver is all about!"
