He'd get huge cheers at first, which would die down dramatically with each appearance he made.

Hogan is Hogan. He's like the Elvis Presley or Micky Mouse of the wrestling industry. For a man in his mid 50s who hasn't been able to move right for at least the last 20 years, he is still the first name most would mention if you said the word 'Wrestling' in a word association game.
People mention the word 'icon' as if it has to be a positive thing and that if you think Hogan cannot 'go' in the ring anymore (or never could) then you somehow don't have to accept his status. You don't have to like junk food to know McDonalds is the biggest icon in the fast food market. He's Americana personified. Of course he'll get cheers. Even the cynical of cynical smarks, when they hear Real American hit for the first time in a long time, they're eight years old again.
There's something special that the WWE fans have with Hulk Hogan. Nobody else has it. He doesn't have it with TNA fans, he never had it with WCW fans. It's odd but I think it's one of those things that to the WWE audience, Hogan is their....without meaning to get political he's like Regan is to the Republican party movement.....you can have whatever opinion you want of him but his place with 'his' people is absolutely solid.

He'd get huge cheers at first, which would die down dramatically with each appearance he made. I see it going that way. Hogan in 2002 had so much advantages,he hadnt of been on wwe tv in almost a decade. He'd been even gone from wcw for a while and out of the public eye. It was perfect full circle. That was ten years ago and he doesnt have those benefits going for him. I don't think Hogans star is as bright as it was then. Thats not a slam on hogan its just, I think if it was,tna would be better off than it is. Which it isnt failing but its not huge either. Plus,I think once the fans know you probably wont wrestle the goodwill to your appearences lessens. Sometimes i've seen the crowd not respond to austin even so it's not a criticism on him in the least. I think he'd get a fairly nice reaction then people would move on.

It is odd how each time I go to WWE.com his face is the first I noticed with the legends game ad banner and his name appears first at the top.
I think it's very odd promoting someone who is active currently in a rival organisation. I can understand the point of them putting him in the game to sell it but to have him on the website often as the first face its wrestling audience can see at a time when he works for the other side, is most odd.

The reason why they feature him so much still is Hogan WAS Wrestlemania in the beginning and he and Austin are the main reason Vince is a very wealthy man today.

He'd get cheered for sure. For at least the first couple of months. After that . . . .

"Well let me tell you somethin', WWE Universe! OH MY HIP!"
That's what'd happen if Hulk showed up on WWE TV.

He would get a big pop. Might not be as big as it used to be, but still a big pop.

Imagine this....Wrestlemania....main event....Rock turns on Cena and he beats him up with The Miz. REAL AMERICAN HITS. Hogan comes out doing his determined/angry walk pointing at the evil ones in the ring. Rock's eyes bulge out...Miz s***s himself and probably runs away. Come on...you'd mark, I'd mark, Georgia Dome would collapse from the pop. I would mark so hard I'd implode.

I turned in my Hulkmaniac card about 5 years ago, but that would be pretty awesome.

If he came out as NWO Hulk and chairshotted face Orton, I think he'd get kayfabe booed. If he did that he'd get MASSIVE cheers. If Hall and Nash are with him the crowd would get a collective markgasm just for nostalgia.

It wouldn't be the regular Hogan pop mostly because the audience doesn't pop for much anymore (based on the YT clips I see once in a while), but definitely a huge sustained pop. If it is in a smarkier area (Chicago, New York, etc) I actually think they would cheer more just because the crowds are generally older and more vocal.
Hogan won't get booed at this point in his career.
