Dude one it in a Fatal 4 Way with Miz, Zack Ryder, and Ted DiBiase just to show off that stupid Fatal 4 Way PPV's rules. What an odd time. Fatal 4 Way, Zack Ryder in a title match, R-Truth getting a push. Just weirdness. He LOST it in the fatal-4-way, making his reign even more pointless. I loved that Fatal 4 Way....I was pissed that it didn't make it onto the Best of RAW Blu Ray.

I don't get how him having it that shortly helps him or the US championship. it made the fans happy because it meant Miz got beaten. then wwe burned another chance at making a legit main eventer by stopping r truth's push

Truth be told, I'm not sure Miz should have lost it to begin with. Daniel Bryan beating him probably would have meant more if he had defeated Miz right when he was on the verge of having a year long title reign.

NO MIC and the crowd still was with it. they blew up a great chance by not pushing him to the moon.

I loved it when he won the belt and I was happy Truth was finally getting the recognition he deserved, and considering the massive pops he was getting, I thought WWE was going to run with it for a few months before feeding him to a new heel who needed to get over.
Then he loses it back clean after a couple weeks to the guy who'd been doing nothing with the US title for the last six months, and the whole thing is never mentioned again.
*Sigh*

Fatal 4 Way, Zack Ryder in a title match, R-Truth getting a push. Just weirdness. Wrong. Totally wrong. Bret Hart beat Miz for the US Title and vacated it the next week. Miz/R-Truth squared off for the vacant title and Truth won the belt. At Fatal Four Way, Miz defeated Truth, Ryder & Morrison to win the belt back.

I've read the entire thread, and still don't remember this happening.

Actually, it was the Monday Night RAW before the FFW PPV where Truth lost the title in a FFW (to put over how "unpredictable" the PPV was gonna be). Truth got a one-on-one title rematch vs. The Miz at the actual PPV six days later. I hated that period where "putting over the new crappy PPV concept" meant "we gotta have ALL new champions in every FFW match" ...and, of course, NO Fatal Four Way PPV this year. Raging success

I think Truth was at his peak around that time, as far as being over
he should've got a decent run with the belt imo

No word of a lie, my reaction when I saw this thread was "Truth had the US belt?" so that should say it all
