Possibly Wrestlemania X. I recall watching the Fox special of Wrestlemania XI at one point on tape but not live. I know for sure I watched XIV on PPV. I cried when HBK lost.

Live when it happened would be 6. I don't know if any others were shown live here before that but 6 was live. Interesting fact, 7 and 10 were not shown live here for some reason. Interesting considering 10, with a 4 PM EST start time, would have allowed you guys to watch at a reasonable hour. PPV's here were a bit all over the place around that time in terms of whether they were live or not. I think the deal between WWE and Sky might not have been for every PPV live. We didn't even get the In Your House PPV's at all, let alone live, until Revenge of the Taker in 1997. It was only from about around that time that all PPV's were live from that point on.

I voted according to the first one, and to date the only one, I've seen live in person; that was WM 21 in LA. As far as on PPV, would have to be VIII when Warrior made his surprise return.

Technically my first WM was WM7, but we didn't have PPV at the time, so I didn't get to see it until it came out on video. The next year, however, I was able to watch WM8 on PPV, so I guess that makes 8 my first LIVE WrestleMania.

WM2 in the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City with about 8000 other screaming fans on the big screen. First live one was 25 and it was awesome.

Despite being a fan since 1996, the first one I saw as it happened was Wrestlemania 22. We started going to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the PPVs every month starting in December 2005, so that would have been the first one to fall in that timeline.

Saw 15, 16 and 17 on tape like a week after the show happened, but 18 was the first one I watched live.
Man, that was a great night.

I think it was 2000, but I'm really not sure. I remember watching WrestleMania XIV on Scramblevision and I may have caught XV the right way. Needless to say, X-Seven was the best one I saw live.

24. I was a bit surprised when I realised that, but thinking back I always had to be up early the next day so I taped every Wrestlemania from 2000 (although I missed 23 completely, watched it on DVD months later).
24, 25 and 26 are the only ones I've watched live so far. I'll be watching 27 live too.

WrestleMania XXIV. So much awesomeness. I really think that show needs to be recognised as one of the best WMs. I'd rank it up there with X-Seven and III.

WrestleMania XXIV was the first one that came anywhere close to Valdosta, Georgia. I'd been all the way to Boston for SummerSlam 2006, Charlotte for Survivor Series 2001, and Atlanta for Royal Rumble 2002... but the Citrus Bowl was my first WrestleMania, and it was all sorts of awesome.
Leaving the house tomorrow morning, bright and early, for my second WrestleMania at the Georgia Dome, and I can't freakin' wait!

Not sure if I've ever watched one live - I used to tape them and watch them the next morning, because a 4am bedtime on a school night wasn't the best idea. Last year I watched it the weekend after so I could watch at my bf's, may do the same this year.
