Seriously, Jericho is probably the best all around package we've ever seen. I disagree. Jericho is too small and short to be considered a "total package". I voted Bret Hart since it's his catchphrase, but rethinking I guess I was wrong. Bret was great in the ring, had charisma and the right look, but just ok on the mic. His catchphrase caught on and that's fine, but...I think Randy Savage would have been a better choice...then it's too short after his death and many people might consider it a tribute vote, however: Savage was muscular to roided up, charismatic, good in the ring, a GOD on the mic and...well....just a total package.

There should be an option for vote for Chris Benoit. If you've ever seen his wrestle, you don't need to ask why. Same goes for Dean Malenko.

i voted lou thesz,in terms of pure longevity and drawing power. His interviews from what I seen were good as well. His look is weird today but considering the guys at the time, its not a factor. He held the nwa title for 10 years three months and 9 days combined.
Then austin then hogan then sammartino.
also i dunno if this guy could be considered the best in terms of drawing power(which is why i chose thesz) and theres other factors though he was one of the most over people in the attitude era and a major merch seller but jericho excells at everything. He's got a great look(however untypical to wrestling its unique),hes a great wrestler, great charisma and great mic skills.

Eddie Guerrero was the best out of everyone on this list overall which is no fair slouch and since more popular guys (ex. Rock, Austin, Savage, Hogan, etc.) are more likely to get support I picked Eddie. You're delusional.

What about Brock Lesnar? The dude was crazy buff, could actually wrestle, and even dared to pull off ultra-risky high-flying moves like the shooting star press. The only thing he might be lacking is charisma/mic skills and a gimmick.

This thread is a bit confusing to me, the poll asks who the best wrestler ever was, but the OP asks for who the best all around worker was. I think you could have differing opinions between the former and the latter here.
I voted Bret Hart because to me, while you could argue he wasn't the most charismatic guy(and he wasn't), he's the most well rounded to me because he worked his character to perfection. Though his promos weren't as poppy as the Rock or Hogan, I bought every word he said as genuine, and his matches speak for themselves. He had just an iconic look, he came off as larger than life to me, and the fact that he was just so good in the ring makes him my favorite of all time.
But it's really hard to deny Jericho in terms of well roundedness. He's changed his act so many times and made it work. He never gets stale, and he's not just confined to wrestling. He fronts a successful metal band, he can hold his own in movies, host a game show one week, compete on a dance show the next, in terms of being a total package I don't think anyone's as versatile as Chris Jericho.

Here is a copy-and-paste from the original post: "I'm not talking just best worker here, but total package -- charisma, look, mic work, in-ring work, everything all put together." Note the word not. And Chyna and Doink -- humor. Look it up.

Hogan
He may not be the best wrestler, but he had everyone eating out of the palm of his hand, without a huge moveset. Call me crazy, but I consider part of in ring work, to be the ability to get the crowd involved in your match. And for that, Hogan really hasn't had an equal.
The drawing power, good on the mic, ability to get the crowd into the match, having memorable matches and his charisma, cause me to vote for Hogan.
