Here's an idea for a thread: pick two guys who's careers intersected at some point in the same company, but who never had a chance to legitimately feud with one another.
So if you want to pick two guys from, say, WWF circa 1989, try that, or a territory, or a modern pick, etc. As long as they worked in the same place at the same time, and were in reasonable enough ring shape that you could get a good series of matches and/or angles (not necessarily both!) from them.
My pick: 1995 WCW, Arn Anderson vs. Meng.
Two hard hitters, each representing a different faction of the time. The Dungeon of Doom and the Horsemen teamed up at one point to attempt to take out Hulkamania, but they butted heads just as often. Tired of the nonsense, both Ric Flair and Kevin Sullivan send out their toughest stable members to make a statement at the other's expense.
Over time, the ferocity of their competition leads to Arn and Meng wanting each other's throats, sometimes at the expense of their own respective stables' goals.
I figure a feud between these two would likely be enough to level most of the southern Atlantic seaboard, so why not?
Any other ideas?

AJ Styles and Christian Cage in TNA. Both fantastic wrestlers who had history with one another where a feud would make perfect sense, but it never happened. They had one match with each other as far as I know, and it was a throwaway match at the end of 2006 before AJ turned heel.

Most of my picks would be trainwrecks but I would've enjoyed them personally.
Warrior and Bulldog would've been cool in 92, both guys still had some speed and were both jacked. Not sure how they would've worked it, unless Warrior had won at SS 92 and then they did a champ/champ match or something.
Hogan and Austin in 2002, purely to get this match off of people's fantasy lists.
Waylon Mercy and Sid were in WWF at the same time in 95, no? That would've been a hoot too.

Triple H and Brock Lesnar. I think they had one promo together in mid-2002, but don't think they ever crossed paths again.

Triple H and Brock Lesnar. I think they had one promo together in mid-2002, but don't think they ever crossed paths again. There was a Lesnar Vs Triple H Vs Rock Main event at the Global Warning show (first wwe show in australia in 18 years) here in 2002. It got a DVD release.

Were Bull Nakano and Sherri ever in WWF at the same time? That would've been an interesting match. Ditto for Nakano vs. Luna.

Lance Storm vs. Kurt Angle. Especially around the time Storm was rockin' the Unamericans, give Kurt Angle an American counter-team and there could have been some magic there.
I know they had a match but a full on feud would have been amazing.

Hogan and Sid could've been a hell of a lot better if Hogan had turned instead of Sid.

Pre-nWo Randy Savage (playing the heel) vs. "surfer" Sting would have been a big money-maker for WCW, IMO.

I'd definitely want to see Hart vs. Savage back then. Good one.

Damn, everybody's got good ones. Raven/Taker would've been great, never even considered that.
I think Savage/Hart actually had a match or two around the time that Bret won the belt, didn't they? Could've sworn I caught this on some random coliseum tape.

Hogan and Sid could've been a hell of a lot better if Hogan had turned instead of Sid. woulda been the single most surprise thing ever in pro wrestling. Not really when you think about it. Hogan did cheat and throw hissyfits often enough for the fans to turn on him(and they started to in late 91). As far as my picks for feuds go? Rick Rude vs. The Heenan Family. If Rude didn't leave the WWF in late 90, thats where they should've gone to. From not winning the WWF Championship at Summerslam 1990, Bobby Heenan should've turned on Rude, slowly but surely. The perfect time would be after he lost his teams match at Survivor Series for being the last eliminated, Heenan would bitch at him, and then slap him leading to Rude turning face. He would get victories over Heenan stable members Haku and Barbarian all the way leading up to Mr. Perfect at Wrestlemania VII. Rude would win the IC title and that would culminate his feud with The Heenan Family. Ahh what could've been.
