Yeah the Corre was one seriously dreadful faction, probably one of the worst groups ever. It seemed like every week all of their matches were DQs or countouts and nothing ever happened with them at all.
It's not a shock that Christian would turn heel. Though if he doesn't win the title after all this, I have no idea what they will do with him.

So it looks like Christian will be WWE's #1 heel heading into the Summer and possibly a big match at Slam?

I have no faith in WWE when it comes to putting the title back on Christian so I say yay to a heel turn. I've always loved heel Christian but I PRAY he doesn't go SRS...

I like that Dibiase and Rhodes are together again for some reason. Maybe I'm just a mark for continuity.

I was really really depressed today that I didn't go to the Smackdown tapings, but maybe it wasn't so bad after all. Really wish I could have seen Bryan, Cara, and Rhodes in person though.

So the New Nexus had outlasted the Corre... I'm torn on which is worse. On one hand, New Nexus sucks all around anyway so them being useless and boring is to be expected. The Corre had three very talented guys and managed to make them ridiculously bland. As for this Cody / Ted / Bryan / Cara thing... Are the heels ever going to get a win in this feud?

This isn't exactly calling for Taka Michinoku instead of Austin on top back in '98. Christian is over enough to main-event and had momentum for the first time in over a year. There was no harm in going with him as top face, especially since it's been established that Orton is not a draw. Once this program is over, does anyone want to see Orton against any other heel? Maybe Cody? Meanwhile, there were at least half a dozen potential programs for Christian as champ. I agree there was no harm in giving him a shot as top face for a little while; I just don't think he was more over than Orton. Also, I disagree with people saying a face vs. face feud with Orton and Christian would have been a good idea. Orton would have almost certainly been cheered more and Christian would have gotten booed. The fans cheered Orton over Kofi and Orton was still a heel then. Honestly! You didn't see Over The Limit did you? Christian was by far the favorite. Orton was getting booed.

Those Yay(Christian)/Boo(Orton) punches were a dead giveaway on who a majority of the crowd wanted to win... Also...that's was the first time since his face turn that Orton has gotten a mixed reaction. And I have a feeling that at Capital Punishment, it's not gonna be any different

As such, the crowd will only be about 60/40 in favor of Christian.
