So far, no one but TMZ has confirmed this that I've found, and all the tweets on it cite them. That doesn't mean it's not true but... well... I don't know...

Oh my. I was just in spanish class on my phone on twitter when I saw the TMZ reporter pop up. Not something I expected to see.
R.I.P
Condolences to his entire family, especially his wife Lynn.

The more I think about it, I'm kind of glad he didn't continue to wrestle into his twilight years and went out on top, more or less. He didn't really give shoot interviews, and there is so much about him that is still surrounded in mystery.
It kept him larger than life, when we got to see most of the wrestlers that were childhood heroes for many of us in a very human light - even the superheroes like Hogan and Warrior.
He was (and is) a legend, in every sense of the word.

I wish I could say something about this right now, but...there are no words to describe how I feel right now. One of my all-time favorites...is dead.

If Savage is not inducted into the HoF next year, I will never watch WWE again.

This one's a big one, probably the biggest wrestling death I've ever experienced as a fan.
I'm shocked, this hasn't sunk in. This is horrible.
