The biggest problem in WWE right now, from a talent perspective, is that there are too many upper mid card heels.
Sheamus, Mark Henry, R-Truth, Miz, Cody Rhodes, Christian, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger. Though the position on the card of these guys varies considerably (Christian as champ on SD, Swagger being a comedy character a good deal of the time nowadays), they're all guys who have main evented PPVs or had major programs with top stars over the last year, and could be believably built over the course of a month or two to be title contenders on a secondary show.
Wade has the bad luck of fitting snugly into that pool, but being the least tenured (barring ADR), least experienced mid card heel on the roster, which is why he gets stuck jobbing to Ezekiel Jackson and other pointlessness.
Barrett can absolutely still be a big deal, but there have to be more legit top faces for him and these other guys to feud with for it to ever become a reality. On Raw, you're either working with Cena as the top heel, or you're the next in line and feuding with Rey. Smackdown is even worse, as the only real legit main event face is Orton, and they just don't seem willing to give up his feud with Christian, AKA the guy who had been the Mysterio of Smackdown and would've/should've been giving the Barrett's of the world something to do when not chasing the title.

I think it sucks that Barrett didn't get to feud with Punk and that they also turned Christian face. A Corre/New Nexus feud would have worked wonders for Barrett. When you're a rookie fresh off a feud with the WWE's top guy, it couldn't work to have a feud with a guy that has loads to teach you about the business and how to work. Same with Christian. If Orton and Christian's feud had both of them stay faces, we had a fresh feud with Christian/Barrett to fall back on afterwards. WWE doesn't seem to be high on heel vs heel title feuds though, so don't see it happening.

Sure, just as long as he pays his bill before the 15 day grace period ends. I laughed at that way more than I should of, and I can't even blame drugs or anything.

"How Barrett Got His Heat Back" should be the next WWE Film. Kofi Kingston should be in it too.

Why would he want his heat back now it's Summer maybe in the Winter late Fall maybe. I laughed so hard at this. The lack of punctuation makes it seem like a real run-on sentence that someone would say.

I knew I forgot something in that sentence and I have only myself and the medication to blame.

I think so. Definitely. I hope he gets another chance soon. I'm not liking how he's been on Superstars quite a bit lately

I think Wade Barrett is pretty much where he should be, ATM. Yeah, he was a part of the biggest angle of last summer and was getting lots of heel heat. But, was Wade Barrett the top heel on Raw, or was Nexus as a unit the top heel on Raw. I know Barrett was the figurehead and the main guy, but I don't think Wade would've gotten as much heat as he did then had he not been feuding with the 2 top guys in the company.
It's not hard to get lots of heel heat attacking Randy Orton and John Cena every week. Hell, Kevin freaking Federline got tons of heel heat feuding with John Cena.
I think now's the time we truly see what Barrett's made of. Let's see how much heat he can get feuding with midcard guys. By the looks of things, it doesn't seem to be much.

I think now's the time we truly see what Barrett's made of. Let's see how much heat he can get feuding with midcard guys. By the looks of things, it doesn't seem to be much. There's a difference between Federline and Barrett. Federline is some putz "celeb" that came in when Cena was still over with the majority of the crowd. The anti-Cena movement hadn't kicked in full swing yet. You say it's not hard to get heat assaulting Randy Orton and John Cena every week? Look at Cena's feuds lately. R-Truth, the Rock, the Miz and CM Punk. What do all of these men have in common? Surprisingly a lot of fans supported them in their feuds with Cena. That fan reaction was mostly 50/50. Not so with Barrett. He had the crowd the closest it's been to pro-Cena in a long time. It had nothing to do with the Nexus as a whole either. Are you telling me that Nexus would have been as over as it was if David Otunga was the man that won NXT1?
