Mark Henry goes crazy and attacks people: Bad.
Randy Orton goes crazy and attacks people: Good.
I'm not seeing why we're supposed to sympathize with Randy because he has an explosive temper. Like having violent outbursts is a sympathetic trait.

I think Randy is pretty much a heel people like to cheer. You know, like '97 Steve Austin, except nowhere near as talented.

Henry attacks faces with little to no reason. Randy attacks heels who wronged him. When it came to the Henry/Show feud, Henry was way in the right and everything he did was completely justifiable. His attacks on Kane and that sound guy not so much, but yeah. |

Austin stunnered faces like Dude Love who were merely helping him, Triple H pedigreed London and Kendrick, and Rock picked on Coach and Kevin Kelly unprovoked and to humiliate them because they were not able to fight back. At least Randy Orton in kayfabe has IED, so he has an excuse, albeit not a very good one. WWE continues to have him employed knowing he's a liability, so they are as culpable as he is. Rock was just mean spirited and a bully, while Austin was a belligerent drunk. Where are their threads? |

I don't really understand it myself. I mean Orton is just a huge bully who never has anyone stand up and smack him in the mouth.
I think they've actually cornered themselves with Orton's character. Any heel that actually confronts him face to face without fear will get face pops for it. Just like Sheamus did when he confronted Mark Henry. Someone stood up to the legit tough bully and immediately turned face for it.
I'm sick of Orton by the way.
