The only one I've ever watched I think was 17 which wasn't live. My cousin had taped it and I watched it the next day.

Even back when I was all about "WCW first", I still ordered Wrestlemania every year. The reason for that was because my very first wrestling memory was sitting in my Dad's lap watching Wresltemania 10. So ever since then ,I've at least pitched in to pay for every mania since 10.

For most of the time I was growing up, we didn't have PPV access, so from WM7 to 14, I'd have to wait for the VHS to come out. So despite having watched the WWF since 1990, I didn't see my first truly live WrestleMania until WM15. I've managed to see every live WM since then, with the exception of 22, when I was going through some financial hardships and couldn't afford WM that year. Now that I think about it, I never got around to watching it at all, making it the only WM out of all 27 that I've never seen. Is it any good? Yea, I had the same problem with not having PPV access. There's no telling how many I would have seen if I had PPV access before 1998. I started watching wrestling before I can even remember, and I was watching religiously by 1997. Wrestlemania 22 was pretty good IMO, not great but not bad. HBK/Vince was awesome, as was MITB. The main event with HHH and Cena was good because of the crowd, and I'm thinking the rest of the card was solid if unspectacular. My memory of that show isn't quite as vivid as some other Mania's because it's the only one that I ordered and didn't throw a party for (besides 19 which I watched by myself online). I really think that if you can't attend the event, watching it with a group of friends is the way to go. It adds a lot more excitement to the matches.

Wait, so do you mean 17 is the only Wrestlemania you've ever seen, or just the closest to a live one you've seen? While WM 17 is easily my favorite one, if it's the only one you've seen you're really missing out.

7,17,& 18 I watched at my Aunts house. 19,20,21 I watched at the theatre because they give away prizes and it's pretty cool to see it on a huge screen with other fans....yelling at a....well big screen. And from 22-27 I have ordered them all at my house or a friends. So I'm holding strong with 10 in a row.
I didn't have a satellite as a child hence watching some at my Aunts, but now that I have my own place with a dish I tend to order most of the PPV's regardless if it is Wrestlemania or not.

I remember watching WM2000 for some reason, but anything before that is a blur to me. My mom got me into wrestling while I was really young so I can't recall a lot of earlier stuff.
Anyway, after that one I actually got to go to 17 and have watched every one on PPV (aside from 25 which I also attended) since.

It's now a tradition that I go over to my mate's place and watch it, which we have been doing since 23. We technically watch the replays as it's live during the day in Australia. Before that I just watched them on tape, I don't have cable access.

You have seen more Wrestlemania's live than I have seen at all. Having seen that many WM's in the appropriate context (knowing the build ups, not knowing who's gonna win, etc) which one was your favorite?

I watched Wrestlemania 5 - 10 on tape the next day due to time differences. I skipped 11, 12 and 13. I watched 14 - 17 on tape. The first one I saw live was 18. I've been staying up to watch them every since. With the exception of Wrestlemania 25 since I couldn't order it due to a screwup with my cable box.
