I... err... like Otunga and McGillicutty.
An explanation - for years I've been fantasy booking (in me noggin) ideas that I came up with - one was a team called the Dark Ones, who started out with a high risk, destructive style, which worked at first, but eventually cost them matches, as mistakes were costly.
When they came back from a hiatus, they were dominant, but as a team that took NO risks. Lots of corner work, moderately high impact - kind of like Blanchard and Anderson. And, forgive me, but the last few weeks... they've been a dollar store version of that. Workmanlike, but in a sensible way. I could get behind them as a team as part of stable, who cheat like hell and play percentages to hold the title FOREVER.

Not sure what's embarrassing about liking someone. I too enjoy MGillitunga; don't let the haters make you feel stupid for liking 2 particular superstars. Jennifer Hudson and Genesis be damned.

As a tag team, McGillicutty and Otunga work very well. Otunga must be working his ass off because the guy has looked pretty decent in the ring the past few times I've seen him (although he does still have some way to go). They could do with a manager or valet (NXT's Maxine?) who can talk for them and get them some heat.

While Otunga is still poor in the ring, I'm growing to like them. They work well together, and they're an actual tag team with double team moves unique to them.

They are a passable tag team, but honestly, we've been in the desert so long with tag teams, I fear I may be drinking the sand.

I will give credit where credit is due. I too think that they work well together. They have both improved.

I still find Otunga sympathetic as everybody hates the poor guy and most of his friends and allies have left him over the past year, now he doesn’t even have Nexus and King is calling him bland.

Honestly, at this point there's no longer a reason for having General Managers since HHH seems to be the authority figure on both shows.

Otunga is coming along. He clearly needs more time but he's getting a baptism of fire and is noticably improving.
McG... ok in the ring but he's just so bland to me. Nothing about him makes me sit up and go 'Oooo, look what he's doing/I wonder what he's going to do'. It would also help if there was more than the Usos and Santino/whoever he's teaming with this week for them to fight against. But thats obviously a problem with the tag division rather than the team themselves.

They work together very well and do great tag team moves, which is something you don't see anymore since teams only last a few months around there. A manager would really help them out and give them more purpose. I just hope they don't break up after they lose the belts to Kofi/Bourne.

I'm starting to feel the same actually. Otunga's not as god awful as he used to be. McG's hair is still distracting to me, he's getting pretty bald.

I like Otunga but, am not sold on McG. Same. Otunga has a hell of a way to go, but he's come quite a way from NXT. McGillicutty, OTOH, is very average for the praise he gets. Damn. Who'd have though a year ago I'd prefer David Otunga to Curt Hennig's kid?

I still think they needs something that makes them a team. A name, matching tights, a gimmick... something. They have a lot of potential, but it needs to be more than Wrestler A and Wrestler B.

Seeing them just reminds me that I miss Husky Harris COME BACK, TAXMAN JR. Everytime I see them together I think why can't they just kick out Otunga and have Husky replace him? I don't think anyone would mind... I've seen some recent pictures of Husky and he's looking really good now. He's interesting and charismatic too. I thought he was impressive in the ring for a heavyweight. I say bring him back!
