Who are the youngest and oldest inductees of the WWE Hall of Fame? I am watching the 2011 Hall of Fame and I just wanted to ask this question. By the way, who do you think should have been inducted this past HOF and who do you think should be inducted next year?

Sunny is the youngest. The oldest living Hall of Famer might be Verne Gagne Mae Young.

Oldest? Probably Mae Young (irony).
Youngest? I think Sunny.

Mae Young was the oldest living inductee and I believe Sunny was the youngest living inductee.
Posthumously some of those Von Erich boys would be the youngest and oldest might be Vincent J. McMahon.
The guy who has been dead the longest though is Gorgeous George.

Are we counting people who died young?

Yes, if you count posthumous inductions, Chris Von Erich was only 21 and Mike was only 23. Technically, Lacey Von Erich is a member of the Von Erich wrestling family and had a degree of pro experience when they inducted the Von Erich family, so you could at least argue that she is the youngest living inductee thanks to WWE inducting them as "The Von Erichs."

Lacey wasn't inducted into the HOF though.... The induction clearly meant Fritz and his sons.

I said you could make the argument based on WWE lumping them all together and inducting them as "The Von Erichs." Some call her a Hall of Famer as a joke, but I suppose you could argue that if they inducted "The Von Erichs" that she could qualify since she did some work in the business before they inducted them. She's done more in wrestling than Chris, though not at the time of the induction.

Technically speaking, James Dudley does have the earliest birth date. But when he was inducted he was about 83. When Mae Young was inducted, she was about 85. However Dudley did have the longest lifespan of any inductee so far as he died when he was 93.
