Yep. So last night, I ended up with a group of Irish people young and old and we were the last ones left in a pub. Most of them were my girlfriend's family who I was meeting for the first time. Even though I live in Edinburgh now the Irish always seem to stick together.
Anyway people got to singing old irish ballads and rebel songs. I knew that they'd be asking me at some point and even though I was after a few drinks I was still panicing as I don't really know any good irish songs. But I had an idea and rolled with it.
I sang Sheamus' theme song and tried to pass it off as an Irish ballad. And it worked.
Only my girlfriend's cousin knew what it was from and couldn't stop laughing, but was constantly being told to be quiet by everyone else as they fully believed it was a proper old irish song.
I called it 'The Cry of the Laoch'. Maybe it was because everyone was so drunk but it went down a hit and brought me great favour with the girlfriend's family. I haven't told her yet its a wrestling theme song.
Cheers fella!

That would have been a bit out of place, although I wished I could have sneaked it in. Too many limes was also not sung

Try going to Canada and singing The Mountie's theme. Or trying to add words to Bret Hart's theme.

I’m impressed that you know all the words. When Sheamus first debuted in 2009 my band actually did a cover of his theme song cause we thought he was so bad ass (And he looked like a roided up version of our guitarist)

I’m impressed that you know all the words. Read the words that are written in their faces Oh I believe them, I believe
It's a shame for they lost their heads A careless man who could wind up dead You wear your sin like it's some kind of prize Too many lies Too many lies
Oooh, these words are true and I'll make you believe Oooh, yeah you fight for air and struggle just to breath Oooh, and you wear your cowardice well And I will see you ride it straight to hell
It's written in my face In the shadows of my eyes When the devil comes a calling He breaks your earthly ties
The land will break and the seas will rise The wind will rage as it burns the skys All your beliefs will be broken and fall On your final day 'cause I'll end it all
Oooh, these words are true and I'll make you believe Oooh, yeah your time is done and now it's time to bleed Oooh, and you wear your cowardice well And I will see you ride it straight to hell Oh and I will see you ride it straight to hell
Oooh, these words are true and I'll make you believe Oooh, your time is done and now it's time to bleed Oooh, and you wear your cowardice well And I will see you ride it straight to hell
These words are true and I'll make you believe Yeah your time is done and now it's time to bleed Oooh, and you wear your cowardice well And I will see you ride it straight to hellTyped that entirely from memory.

Hmmm. Should I now go to Utah and pass off Steven Regal's "Man's Man" theme as a song?

What, you don't know Rattlin' Bog? I had no idea Rattlin' Bog was Irish until I looked it up just now! Always thought it was a Scottish song! Anyway, well done on impressing them. Better hope you're not asked to trot it out at all family functions from now on!

I was thinking this would be about Sheamus getting a passionate round of applause from a small village he saved from a leviathan by blinding the beast with his paleness. They then do the ROH style chant THANK YOU SHEAMUS *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* THANK YOU SHEAMUS as he lays on a tanning bed to finally reverse his curse.
