It really seems like they've gave up on Jinder Mahal mainly, the guy had weekly squash matches and plenty of build up and character development ready, Khali's been pretty much been wasted space since 2008 and it seems like they're really struggling to keep him relevant.
Week after week the two of them seem like filler, Khali's last win was probably against an Uso brother or Primo, Jinder hasn't beat anyone of any relevance outside Superstars either. We always have jobbers sure, but it seems so out of place for a 7'3 350lbs giant to be a jobber to Sheamus and Zeke every week with no real fueds involved, nobody really knows who Jinder is, he's bordering on being in the 'obscure barely known people' pool inhabited by The Usos, Brodus Clay and Johnny Curtis.
So what to do with them? I would have said fued with Ezekiel Jackson, but Zeke pretty much finished off what could have been a fued ender in the Torture Rack to Khali, that's what they should have built up to.
so... them Indian guys, what to do with em?

I think it's troubling when they have positioned KHALI as the worker of the group.

I get the feeling they were initially hoping to build up Jinder as a big deal (and transition Khali into being his bodyguard/enforcer, a role he can perform even as he becomes increasingly immobile), but his performances just weren't all that impressive, so he's just become another midcard heel act used to put over more important guys.
As for Khali, with his health he can't have many matches left in him. Presumably, he and Jinder are eventually going to have a falling out and fight each other a few times; the plan may have originally been for Mahal to get the rub of beating and ending Khali's career, but now it'll probably play out more like Andre at Wrestlemania VI, with a final face turn and roughing up Jinder before he heads off into the sunset.
Once that's done, I see Mahal winding up as another of the guys appearing more often on Superstars than on the main shows.

Aww man don't say that, the workers on Superstars are actually good in the ring. To force Jinder on the show just obliterates it. As for these two, they are both black holes of suck that should not be allowed to wrestle. Ever.

Honestly I'd just make them a tag team. It'd be a more efficient use of them than as singles guys.

A tag team would make sense. It's the area of WWE that needs development, so they may as well work together. Neither of them will do much in the singles division so yeah, team them.

I don't know why they haven't followed up on the family drama. Would've made them a bit more interesting to watch.

I still don't see why Khali's family would put up with Jinder's crap for money. Khali should have money since he's a former world champion and movie star. It would make sense if Jinder was Khali's lawyer or agent who tricked him into signing his sister over to him as an indentured servant. I doubt that's legal in India, but it's legal in the WWE Universe.

At some point, I'd imagine they will bring in "Khali's sister" I like to think that's why this whole storyline has been put on the back-burner for now; some rookie writer pulled the marriage-for-money storyline out of his ass, and now WWE has to go find a relatively attractive Indian woman with moderate acting skills that speaks Punjabi before they can plan any blowoff involving the family. Because that's what happens when you build an entire storyline halfway around someone who doesn't exist.

Great Khali's sister should really be a huge amazonian woman with the same chin as Khali, that alone would save the storyline.

Jinder Mahal is easily one of the worst all around guys in WWE. When Kahli's doing the heavy lifting, that says how bad you are.

Because that's what happens when you build an entire storyline halfway around someone who doesn't exist. Joey Numbers and Jim Cornette's mama want to bring up that case. Anyway, with this in mind... it's really odd that Khali is the one that's actually doing the work for the pair. In reality, it should be the other way around: Jinder should be the guy wrestling, while Khali helps enforce him with his brute strength, since by logic, Jinder is younger and more capable than Khali is. Unfortunately, because Jinder has proved to be quite... crappy in the ring (at least Khali has the ability to sell finishers most of the time in spite of his size and immobility on his side), they've swapped it the other way around: Khali wrestles, and Jinder just stands there. But, yeah, the whole "marriage-for-money" storyline just made no sense, as it has been established that Khali is this Indian megastar and wouldn't need to have anyone from his family marry Jinder Mahal for financial assistance. I do agree that this is merely just going to end with Khali getting the final victory and retires from wrestling next year, as opposed to giving a push to Jinder to become a midcard heel.

I'd like to think it's leading Jinder to the unemployment line.
Seriously, Jinder is the worst most useless thing EVER.

I've not watched Smackdown in awhile so I want to ask, How long has Mahal been around? He came out with Khali, I was like WHO!? Mahal debuted about two or so months ago, with Ranjin Singh going "Oh my God, it's Jinder Mahal!". Then Khali betrayed his kayfabe "brother" and alligned with Mahal after he insulted the Punjabi Playboy. I'm still trying to figure that out, let alone the wedding thing.
