That sucks. Wish it was Tenay missing the show. Indeed, JB and Taz is a really solid combo on Xplosion, I love em both.

If it's a nostalgia show, Don West should at least call Amazing Red's match.
"GO RED GO!"

damn...so i don't get to count the number of times Taz says something like "OH MAN....i don't even know what to call that move..." or something similar.
so much for my drinking (Pepsi) game.

That Taz will be replaced by Jeremy Borash at the announce table for Destination X? I hate to say it, but I am. Jeremy Borash will fill in for Taz. He wrote on Twitter: "Looking forward to joining the announce table for Destination X this Sunday. This is going to be a fun PPV! Don't miss it!" I know Taz receives most of the hate, but I really wish Borash was replacing Tenay. I have a lot of respect for Tenay and I have since I was younger watching WCW, but I wouldn't be sad to see him get replaced at the table.

I couldn't have been the only one who thought , when this thread was first posted, that it was going to be about G.L.A.D being angry with TNA over dropping the Orlando Jordan gimmick from last year?

He's better as a no. 2 or 3 man in a promotion that has a lot of luchadores and cruiserweights and I know Taz gives people a chuckle for good and bad reasons i could just really do without him on this pay-per-view. i want to enjoy the action and not be confused by something off the wall that he says

Why cant there be a second option for a Don West solo booth? Just three hours of him yelling.

Don West was awful. People seem to forget the venom, the universal dislike, the hatred he was getting for years. JB is a good personality, but his announcing is more annoying than Tenay and Taz in the long run.

I don't know. Taz phones it in all the time but Borash's voice is kinda annoying so...

When he was around all I kept hearing was, "Don West is terrible!" Now he's gone and everyone wants him back.

I think the Don West most people want back was the short-lived heel DW. At the HO-tel baaaaar!
Personally, I always loved DW. He was over the top, but at least he gave a shit. Made everything sound like it was important. As long as he and Tenay weren't over-describing every little thing that was happening in front of us (as they tended to do - seriously, did we need play-by-play during a promo?), they were gold.

Jesus Christ himself could descend into the Impact Zone and give everyone a no-limit platinum card and Taz would say "Whoa, dat wuz pretty cool".

I understand the Don West criticism (always liked him myself) but him marking out on the broadcast booth for all the big spots IS X-Division to me and I've would've welcomed it back for this particular PPV at least.

JB is the Mean Gene Okurland of this generation. He can ring announce, he can commentate, do backstage interviews, has enough of a personality to be interesting, but not enough to over shadow other people. Man, remember there were early talks about him getting the boot from Impact Wrestling like when Hogan and Bischoff came in, that would have brought almost as much uproar if they would have let go AJ Styles.
