If I had to guess - I'd say since it was his 'last match' he just said 'f*** this man' I"ll do what I want or whatever.
I've only seen a few of his other matches, but I don't recall him doing anything like that previously.

Oh, pish posh, I say. Selling varies depending on the kind of match you're having and the psychology of the situation; there's not some universal standard. All that matters is internal consistency within the match itself. You guys don't watch enough lucha.

TNA's storylines are doing a good enough job not selling themselves, thank you.

All that matters is internal consistency within the match itself. You guys don't watch enough lucha. I would like someone to explain, a situation in a match where psychology can be applied to a guy no selling getting dropped on his head from 6 feet in the air, repeatedly. It's one thing if it is one of those puro hail mary spots where a guy gets dumped on his head and then recovers with a fury attack before collapsing, but in this case it just sounds like a guy not wanting to sell another guy using his finish.

I don't know. I love the guy, one of my favorite wrestlers, for sure, but that spill he took out of the ring last night, man... I thought he should have been selling it more, it was sick.

Aries is known to do this in bigger matches. Pretty sure he no-sells some of Joe's bigger offensive moves the night he won the ROH Title from him.
