If I was TNA, I'd really, really consider scaling back on having ALL the matches in a cage.
WCW had WarGames and only the WarGames match was held in the cage. Same theory could be in place for LockDown. If you really, really need to have a few matches in a cage, so be it. But I think it would do some good to only have two or three matches in the cage.

Seconded. At least it looks like a couple feuds (Joe/Pope & Morgan/Hernandez) may've ended tonight. Those 4 are probably the worst booked talents in TNA right now. It's truly amazing how shitty their feuds have been

Yeah Angle/Jarrett, Hernadez/Morgan, and Lethal Lockdown were the only ones I can really see needing the cage. Oh yeah, Kurt Angle is friggin' insane.

the big spot should have been Daniels pulling off a "Best...Moonsault....Ever....From the Top....Of A....Cage!"
so jump all 3 turnbuckles and two hops up to the top before doing his flip.
no, i'm not serious.

My opinion on the possible Sting vs. Hogan match.
Is this the best TNA can offer? Two guy's with a combine age of 100 year's old with one guy can't walk anymore?
Really?

The PPV was ok at best. I couldn't believe that Jarrett won that match. Angle been beaten over and over in this feud. He is the face and this match should have been the feud ender with Angle finally getting the revenge but no. We get a crappy ending. Which means what? Another month of the worst angle in TNA right now. Does TNA honestly think the fans care about the Jarretts? The fans got hot middle of the match because Angle nearly killed himself.
The World title match was just meh. Hogan coming out again screwed up the ending. What got me was as great it was to see AJ return. The faces just won the ME in heel fashin. I found that funny.
Mike Tenay by the way I can never look at him the same after what he said. When Flair got panted. Taz says "Flair's ass out and getting slapped." Right after that Tenay Yells "This is Lockdown!!!" Taz responds "really?" I couldn't stop laughing after that.

Well... erm, I suppose it wasn't THAT bad if you like run-ins and weapon shots and high spots.
Which I happen not to.

Same theory could be in place for LockDown. If you really, really need to have a few matches in a cage, so be it. But I think it would do some good to only have two or three matches in the cage. What's the difference between having two-three matchs in a cage and having all the matchs in the cage? If you have the title match in a cage, the Lethal Lockdown plus a personal feud(like JJ-Angle) and the yearly X Division Xscape match, might as well have the rest of the matchs in a cage. that fits with the concept "everybody locked down". Not just 12 people over 20. Plus that's what cages are for: you use them it for blowoffs of feuds. They had the culmulation of Fourtune vs Immortal, you had JJ-Angle and Mickie-Madison both feud having gone for months. Hell Jarrett vs Angle started at the Impact after BFG. The only thing I would change it would be to make sure that all the blowoff of feuds happened at Lockdown. So that storylines end there. They should have had Fourtune vs Immortal end there. Maybe with Immortal going away after that. That is why I wouldn't have minded to have Daniels turn here. Not because I like swerve but you enter for stipulation that the loser of Fortune or Immortal has to disband. Fourtune wins yet you have something else to fall back on. AJ now would have feuded with Daniels. And you have Hogan(who is still owner of the company) backing Daniels, making him his guy. There wouldn't be Immortal but Hogan would send Daniels help via other heel wrestlers he would have on his control.

I really really hope they don't do that. I don't think Hogan should ever get into the ring again. I thought his last match in WWE was horrible. I'd much rather see Flair VS Sting at the next Bound For Glory and have them both full retire from the ring. They need to make up for that last Nitro match they had where it was kind of sprung on them and neither of them had time to prepare. Flair is in okay shape and Sting has really slimmed down since his first match back. I think they could pull off on big huge match especially since there last one was almost exactly ten years ago.

Personally the only real change I'd make to Lethal Lockdown is get rid of the pinfall/submission stipulation. If it's going to rip off WarGames it might as well go all the way. Just old fashioned four on four mayhem until someone gives up.

Any reason why Jarrett beat Angle? The feud has been so one sided in Jarrett's favor that the only logical ending was Angle winning. Either the feud is going to continue or much like the Jarrett/Joe feud it is going to end with JJ going over, which makes no sense. You know Vince Russo is booking when Jarrett looks like HHH circa-2003.

Another idea would have clear stipulation for all the matchs.
-a I quit match for the personal issue match(say JJ-Angle) -a gauntlet match for the four-on-four -Xcape match where you have to leave on top of the cage to win for the X Division -A enter the cage match. A reverse Xscape match if you will where the cage is closed and you have to get inside to do the pin. I want this is thing in the goal of doing stuff on top of the cage, having the example of the stellar Hell in the Cell between Taker and HBK where the match was all around the arena and all around the cage and they did something unique. -a lumberjack weapon match. Like the film Mad Max Thunderdome, you're in a cage and people all around it are giving you weapons to smash the head of the other guy. -plus the World title match, Knockout title match and tag titles match
Then again, maybe not. ;D

I don't think Sting/Hogan's going to be an in-ring feud....at least I hope it isn't. If they're going to do this, it's more logical just to rip off Austin vs McMahon.
Which is why it's probably going to be an in-ring feud.

Hogan vs. Sting at Bound for Glory, assuming everyone involved is healthy, seems like the way they are going.
I don't like it, Hogan should stay out of the ring with his injury problems, and they won't be getting a record setting Starrcade '97 buyrate out of it, but that looks like the plan from the way it is being booked.

I've changed my opinion about it slightly. The last 3 matches were alright to great and made the show a thumbs in the middle instead of thumbs down.
