Honestly if the only way Jeff can clean himself up is by retiring from the ring then by all means he should do it. Or at the very least he should take a hiatus until he can do so. It's not like he has to worry about money considering how much of it he apparently saved.
Of course he may not have a choice after this coming week...

Nevermind retired, I'm suprised he wasn't fired. What he did was blatantly unprofessional, disrespectful and potentially dangerous. A lesser regarded name (or someone who isn't one of Hogan's boys) would have been sent begging WWE for work.

So what is the synopsis of the video? My speakers are down currently. Basically, Matt is being reflective on his career in regards to Edge's retirement, thinking about how maybe this match could be his last, basically talking about how wrestling is and how things can change so easily, at least that's what I got out of it. His last, in that, if something bad happens, it could all be over, like with most people. He also talked about Jeff possibly retiring due to wanting to get some back surgery that could take him out for good, and talking about the stuff Jeff did to his body. He also put over his Lockdown match. Nothing much really. Put over Edge, put over Jeff, put over Lockdown.

So what is the synopsis of the video? My speakers are down currently. Matt basically gave his thoughts on Edge's retirement and the state of his own life and career. Then he mentioned that Jeff is facing the possibility of career-ending back surgery and may have to retire from wresting. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the bulk of Jeff's drug problems were related to chronic pain from in-ring injuries. If retirement is going to help keep him clean and healthy, I'm all for it. Of course, as I typed this, this came over the PWInsider Twitter: Oh that Matt...

Or he just didn't tell his wife. I know the Hardy's never been completely Not that far out, but it's not uncommon to share stuff with your family that you don't with a spouse. My sister does it with me when it's about her husband/my brother-in-law, so I don't find it that odd to begin with. But that might just be me here. And I can't believe you guys missed the biggest part of the video at the end: {Spoiler}The Enigma Belt still LIVES!

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if his possibility of leaving TNA isn't aided by their use of his drug addiction in a storyline. After all, it's part of the reason he left the WWE.

Do it. For the betterment of yourself and your loved ones and your friends, Jeff...do it. But as a wrestler who's a multiple time world champion and still able to put on great matches...could you really leave THAT match at Victory Road as your closing book end?

It's a sobering reminder that maybe it's best to hang it up. So yeah, maybe he should.

If he does have surgery he really needs to stay off the ring for a really long while, no way can he sober up with that presure and pain.

If you saw it as that, then we are going to have to disagree. He was putting over Edge, Jeff, and his upcoming PPV match. Yes, he said he was going to try to steal the show in every one of his matches from here on out because he was not sure how much longer he has to meet the final goals that he wishes to accomplish. I see nothing wrong with that.

That's not even a rhetorical question because I think they're probably both equally likely to know the truth. IMO it doesn't sound very unlikely that Jeff would confide something like that to Matt without mentioning it to his wife, but then why would Matt delete his tweet? Ah f*** em all.
