Seriously, these last few Impacts where TNA's been on the road, the presentation just looks so much more polished and well, I dare say, close to if not at WWE's level, finally. Say what you will about the actual promos and wrestling, but putting Impact in places other than the Impact Zone does leaps and wonders for the look of the product, at the very least.
I even dig their Dixietron setup; the three screens moving up and down is original and creative, without presumably being too overtly complicated and fancy vs. the E's huge HD setup. They've already at least at a Nitro level if not past that, presentation-wise.

I think it's mainly cost and demand, TNA have been burned before when they've booked big arena's and no-ones showed up.

Only a few entertainment or sports acts can fill up that stadium. TNA should book mid-size arena where there is a demand for the product or enough people to realistic fill the joint. They are nowhere close to fill a big arena.

Yeah, I think it'll be nice if they do this now and then. I doubt they could keep it up week to week. Also they need to make sure they pick the right places. I honestly think that some kind of taping in the UK would be amazing.

They definitely look better compared to the Impact Zone.
Getting away from jaded fans and performing in front of new people definitely helps the atmosphere as well.

i would just be happy if the PPVs were in different locations. Impact can stay in the Impact Zone. But we need to see PPvs on the road again.

it helps you see who is actually over: fortune, anderson, sting, angle, and even joe got a good reception.

Almost anywhere would look better than the iMPACT zone. I hope TNA starts doing this more often.

IF it's cost-effective they should do it as often as possible! getting out of Orlando is a definate improvement

Even a small rotation of 5,000-8,000 seat arenas in the Southeast would be better than the Impact Zone.

I agree as I have seen the last couple Impacts as well; them going out on the road and shying away from FL for once, does make a huge difference. I know they will do PPV's, away from the Impact Zone once and awhile but them doing this for Impact is one step in the right direction. 1 Problem taken care off, 999,999,999 to go lmao

The Fayetteville shows were great. It shows you what a difference a crowd in an arena that actually paid to see wrestling instead of a studio full of tourists just there for the air conditioning makes.
Yes it costs money to go out on the road, but it takes money to make money and besides, what else are they gonna spend it on, paying the talent?

I watch iMPACT every week, and at times, I can almost feel my soul being assaulted. I decided to attend the tapings in NC and I'm glad I did. Watching questionable matches & storylines in person, around other TNA fans, made everything suck a lot less than simply watching on TV. It actually boosted my enjoyment of the product. I can only imagine it would be the same for others.

Loved these last two shows. The impact zone has saved them a lot of $'s over the years but it didn't male them much (I know there is no gate but ppv, merch. Ect.)

It did make a differences. To have a bigger crowd. Which it apeared they got a good turn out. It looked more professional. Yeah I get the impact zone is cheaper but the shows look cheap on TV. They need to do this more and it helps to build a facebase in other places.

The first show especially with the Sting entrance and so forth almost felt like a Nitro.

It is a sign of progression. The Impact Zone sours big returns and things that deserve big pops. If theyre gonna get any bigger, they need to start touring.

Multiple issues here: First, it is much more expensive to put on an IMPACT show on the road than it is in Orlando. So, they have to have a certain level of ticket sales in order to break even. (I would guess that would be 3-5K, but I really have no idea) Second, they have to book an arena that they can come close to filling(so it looks good on TV), but still accommodate that critical number of seats sold that they need to break even. If the arena is too small, they either have to price the tickets excessively high, or they lose money. If it's too big and they don't fill it, the cost goes up and the breakeven level rises, as well being less exciting(in person or on TV).
So they have to find a market where either the brand is well thought of (Nashville, UK) or where individual wrestlers are good draws(NC for Flair and the Hardys) and they have to find a mid-size arena in that market that is available on the dates they can be there. Not the easiest thing in the world to do.
