Honestly? I don't think there's much bearing between the two. The TV championship will not become more prestigious because it's being defended weekly. It's a lower-mid card belt. Period. The WWCF Champion shouldn't be taking weeks off anyways, as he's currently the most over. People voted for him, they likely want to see him involved with serious storylines.
Why are we muddying up the concept right now? It's simple. The belt will be defended on every NiteRAW, and PPV. Retaining gets you a point, losing sends you to the back of the line. Contenders will be booked against each other, and #1 contenders will be expected to win those matches, otherwise they'll be moved down the list.
It's a very simple concept that at the very least gives newcomers and low carders something to do, something that means something. Storylines and feuds will come from that, and so will continuity. As these guys move up the card together, they'll have a lot of ammo against each other. It breeds instant success in a fed where, frankly, a lot of new people lose steam and interest quickly.

Just a note for Shamar: it's typically not kosher to assault other wrestlers/their associates in a promo without clearing it first. I'm gonna be lenient this time, but I would definitely appreciate it if you ran something like that by me first before you just outright had Shamar plaster BB in the promo thread.

Extremely sorry about that man. WILL NOT happen again.
Also, I wanted a WWCF story about the assault just saying that you'll still be able to wrestle & that Shamar's been fined. That okay?

I'd also like to apologize if it seemed like I was crapping all over Viva's idea, because that wasn't what I wanted to do. And part of the reason I wanted to step down, in addition to feeling burned out, was because I wasn't confident in my ability to do a good job any more. I felt bad about Seth leaving and wondered if I could have booked him better, for one thing. So I might very well be wrong about the TV title and how to defend it; it sure wouldn't be the first time I was wrong about something.
Just speaking from experience, though: given the current ratio of match-writers to active roster members, it's not always easy to give everybody equal tv time. As Viva said, the world champion ought to be on tv, but so should guys lower on the card in order for them to build some momentum and one day become world champion themselves.
So that's where my reservation about having the TV Champion on every show comes from; I'm worried that somebody else will have to be bumped from a card that otherwise they would've been on...or, if they aren't, that adding a TV title match to a card is going to mean there won't be enough writers to get the show done on time. I hope I'm wrong about that, but that's why I was unsure about it.
Also, a lot of the time when you book somebody to face the world champion on tv, they won't like it. People are going to vote for the WHC 90-some percent of the time because they voted for him to win the title in the first place and they think it makes him look bad to get beaten by a non-world-champion. Some of us in this fed really don't like losing. If I'd put Amigo, say, up against Whitey back when Whitey was red hot and had just won the WHC, Amigo wouldn't have liked it, and I wouldn't blame him. So that's another tricky part of booking that I'll be the first to admit I haven't figured out: how to get the champ on tv a lot without seeming like you're feeding guys to him for him to just beat.

In my opinion, and I've said this here and in WWE: FAN...
It's the responsibility of each individual to get themselves tv time. It's not practical or possible to book then entire roster every week. If you don't have a match and want to be on the show, submit a promo. Ask if you can write a squash match. Do SOMETHING!
People call WWE's policy of requiring talent to get themselves over ridiculous, but it makes sense. The booker can only do so much. They have to run the whole company, they can't drop everything because Jimmy Whoever isn't happy with his position on the card.

Personal initiative is a must in an e-fed like this (really any though). Reminds me of how I partially came up with the Boiler Room to occupy myself when I wasn't booked for the week, as well as to occupy whoever I interviewed. Works wonders to maintain a presence from week to week even if you don't have a match.

Hope someone will be able to write the Triple Threat match. While I don't know your situation, you could always give it a shot. If you just don't feel confident, I say throw caution too the wind because practice makes perfect. We always can use more writers.

BTW, Mad Man is supposed one part Hippy, One part Crazy brawler, and a wee bit of troll. Expect as many Muppet, Nonsense, and Dr. Demento References as I can muster.
(In other news, I'm getting a "Second Wind" and things are getting fun again)

Yeah, i'm not bummed that I'm off the card this week. There isn't anything that makes sense for me to jump into right now and I don't want to pull votes away from a more deserving guy because I'm a vetran in a situation. Hopefully some avanues open up, because I have an idea for something soon.
