My random predictions: I sure would like to see a moment where Cody Rhodes and Goldust are together in the ring. Has that happened yet? Yeah, three years ago.

I just realized that CM Punk was entry No#1 last year and Daniel Bryan was entry No#2. And now they are the World Champions. Who would have thought?

Yeah, someone mentioned that either in this thread or another. Whoever it was also added that, Zack Ryder was No. 4, and that all three were in the ring alone together.

My prediction: Natalya costs Beth a title match against Alicia Fox.
Pin Up Strong split up - Natalya turns face.
Natalya beats Beth at WrestleMania.

I really want Santino this year to put on an impressive showing(for the right reasons). Who's with me?

So Punk/Ziggler 89 is on and Johnny Ace is the ref. I foresee the old Stone Cold, use the unconscious ref's hand to count 3 ending.

Great build to the Rumble tonight with 2 highlights on past rumbles, defo got me hyped. Loving the booking of the WWE Title match, especially with Ace being the ref. Jeritroll for Rumble win :DD!
Also we can add Wade Barrett and Santino to the list of Rumble entrants

So excited to see Punk vs. Ziggler on a big stage live. Two of my favorites squaring off.
Hoping Jericho has something big for the Rumble too, would love to see him.

All I want from this PPV is a dusty win for Punk, just so they have something they can come back to once wrestlemania season is all done with.

I started rewatching past Rumbles & I've started off with the 1st one in 1988. And I must say that the Glamour Girls v Jumping Bomb Angels 2/3 Falls match is spectacular. The ladies were pulling off moves that I don't think the MEN were doing at the time & the crowd was into it the whole match & popped huge for the finish. Great stuff all around, except for Vince's commentating.
And watching the Rumble match, I like that the faces team up & battle the heels. I miss that since we're so used to "Every man for himself."

I believe Johns nephew James Laurinitus of the St. Louis Rams will somehow get involved in the Punk/Ziggler match possibly helping Punk win.

Looking forward to it, although I'm pissed Hornswoggle is in the match AGAIN. I can't believe they waste a spot on him every year when they could give it to like one of their actual real wrestlers. The novelty wore off years ago, but for whatever they still think it's funny and orignal when it reality it's just old and stupid. In 2008 I didn't mind it as much because he was actually part of an angle at the time but to have him in last year and this year is just ridiculous. I'm hoping at least he gets tossed right away but unforunatly where all gonna probaly have to endure him lasting longer then pretty much everybody again and maybe eliminating some up and coming heel and making them look like an idiot. I'm holding onto the slim hope that some heel like Barrett or someone beats the crap out of him as a way to write him out of the match but I know it's not happening.

Whomever wins, It's obvious their Match at WM will be overshadowed by Rock/Cena anyway.
Just hope it wont be the show opener again.

Maybe not the most reliable source on the web, but wikipedia has put down the rest of the card as this. Warning Smackdown spoilers ahead {Spoiler} 1 30-Man Royal Rumble Match Winner receives his choice of a WWE or World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania XXVIII [4] 2 CM Punk (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler Singles match for the WWE Championship with John Laurinaitis as special guest referee [5] 3 John Cena vs Kane Inferno match 4 Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight ChampionshipIf those two matches get added that would be a stacked card. Inferno matches are still important and is one of the least overused gimmicks in wwe, plus it will give it a big match feel. An Inferno match also makes a lot of sense after the end of Mondays Raw. Plus Dolph vs Punk and a stacked Rumble I cant wait for this PPV Smackdown spoilers here onwards{Spoiler}It looks like the triple threat will happen looking at the way they booked smackdown. This could end up being a really good match considering the chemistry the three of thm have together.

{Spoiler}Inferno matches aren't overused because they tend to not be very good.
