Raven. Never seen the fuss about him. Never liked the character and didn't like his matches.
More recently, Zack Ryder. I admire how he's got himself over with little help from creative but I find him boring in the ring and really annoying on the mic.

I haven't seen a name on this list yet that I don't like besides The Miz. And when I think hard about it, that's the best answer I can come up with. But to the OP, "What kind of mark wears his own shirt while wrestling?" The kind that can get people to still buy the shirt years after he retired. As for me, I'm not a big Kurt Angle fan, tbh. He's obviously as gifted a mat wrestler as the business has ever seen and he's incredibly intense; he's hilarious too and, when he delivers, it's amazing. That said, I've yet to see him carry people in matches the way that he was helped out (I won't say he was carried because I don't think was ever carried) by HBK, Benoit, Eddie, Undertaker, and so on and he wrestles pretty the same match over and over again. He's a first round HoFer and incredible in the ring but I can honestly say that I can go the rest of my life without watching another one of his matches.

Angle's matches have sadly become formulaic. It wasn't always that way, but his TNA run has just been the same basic things ad nauseum.

Colt Cabana when he tries to do comedy in the ring. Let me be clear: I like Colt when he wrestles a serious match, and I like Colt's comedy outside of the ring. But every time I've seen him bring comedy into a match, it hasn't been "Hey opponent, let's both take turns making one another look like idiots and being silly." Instead it's invariably "Hey opponent, you're gonna be the butt monkey this entire match, and I'm gonna make you look like an idiot. Basically I'm Bugs Bunny and you're Elmer Fudd."
I started feeling this way after seeing him and Generico take on ANX last November. He made King and Titus look stupid, and since I like ANX a lot I felt that they deserved better.

As a wrestler or human being? Sure Shawn is a phony, snitch, wuss etc....but he's an awesome performer. Yeah, Shawn has a history of being a dick (and according to some, is still a dick today), but from a pure wrestling standpoint, I can't understand how anyone could not like him. It does have a bit to do with him personally and you'll never hear me deny that he has some awesome matches (I personally love any time he wrestled Bret Hart, Mind Games with Mankind, Badd Blood '97 with Taker, and Wrestlemania XIV [which is the match that helped shape me into a fan.].) but he didn't really wrestle a style that appeals to me. I totally understand the love for him and he'll forever be remembered as one of the very best but he's not for me. Also, I'll second Raven. He's got a decent mind from the business from what I can tell but once again, he never really appealed to me.

I love the Raven character but it didn't evolve enough. Scott was never all that special in the ring, imo, but he does have an excellent grasp of psychology.

I can see why people like guys like Daniel Bryan, the Rock, CM Punk, and others, but I didn't understand the love for Zack Ryder until now. He's decent in wrestling and he is being booked decently as well. But other than that, there isn't any wrestler that I have that "over-ratedness" about for a lack of a better term in this case. That is a good question because it is a tough question to answer. Well maybe except for Ric Flair, who is a talented wrestler and one of the greatest of all time. But is he the greatest of all time? With guys like Lou Thesz (RIP) and Terry Funk still around, I cannot say for sure. I personally would put those two ahead of Ric Flair. He has all of the qualities of a good wrestler and a good performer, but he is the very definition of formulaic. Granted, he is part of my childhood though.

kaitlyn she is hot but she bores me not funny at all or good in the ring Ric Flair I like his character and promos but match wise he is mostly meh to me Robert Roode okay in the mic and ring I think kaz or Aries would make better heel world champs than him

I'll say CM Punk. He's a good worker, but I think there are better workers in the company. And the fact that his entire personality is centered around him being a whiny internet fan just grates on me.
Also Rob Van Dam. Opinions on him in general have gone down over the last few years, but even back in his ECW or early WWF/E days when everbody loved him I just could not get behind the guy. He's definitely athletic, but he doesn't even bother to try to give his matches any kind of flow, psychology or storytelling. Just random spot after random spot with a bare minimum of selling in between hoping his opponent can string it together into a coherent match. Whats even worse is the entire generation of indy spot monkeys he inspired by convincing them that thats how you're supposed to work.

AJ Styles. He's a good wrestler, but he's just never appealed to me personally.

I will also say RVD.....if you've seen one of his matches, you've seen them all.

AJ Lee. I find the way that she's presented to be patronizing and cynical.

Not a wrestler per se, but I will never understand why anyone gives a flying shit what Jim Cornette has to say.

Neither of you are alone on these. The way people fawn over AJ like they've never heard of someone like Veronica Belmont before blows my mind. And Jim Cornette causes most of his own problems. Continuing on...Lacey from Ring of Honor. Yeah, she was attractive, but she did nothing well, in my opinion, and was the weak link of the Home Wrecking Crew in SHIMMER.

Everyone that's been mentioned before... I've always heard complaints about, especially the big names. It's really tough to pick someone that seems to be universally beloved.
However, I do not recall anyone saying a bad word about Elix Skipper... except for me.
To me, he is the definition of a 'spot monkey', a guy who can pull off some (admittedly) amazing high spots but is terrible when it comes to the basics of pro wrestling.

People said good things about Elix Skipper? Where? Most people have either forgotten he ever existed or thought what you think, at least in my experience. Hell, he wasn't even a "good" spot monkey; he botched A LOT.

Zack Ryder. I expect to get heavily criticised for this, but I just don't see what all the fuss is about. I watched a few of his youtube vids, and didn't find them funny, in fact, I preferred The Dirt Sheet to that. I suppose I'm not a big fan of "goofy" wrestlers, and something about Ryder just doesn;t appeal to me... Me too. He was a great guy to cheer for a lower card wrestler on superstars. That's the kind of matches a wrestler with his gimmick is perfect for. Right now the whole "WOO WOO WOO" thing is just very shallow to me.

Rick Flair cant stand the guy and dont see why he gets so much love on the boards. As a wrestler he seems horrible whether its those pathetic Flair spots (On the Macho DVD theres a match where does them completely away from the story being told in the ring and Savages face is like WTF ;D ) As a person he just comes across as a broke shill who kisses arse on anyone who gives him a paycheck. His comments on Bret and Owens death were disgraceful and his jabs at Macho and Foley were poor too yet for some reason is really quiet on guys like Scot Stiener blasting him why is that
