I couldn't imagine a more boring way to waste the rumble than to have Orton win it in 2012. If it leads into Orton/Bryan for the WHC at Mania, I'm all for it. Oooo... That's a good point. Bryan and Randy could put on a 5-star classic.

They'd do refunds for people to work a storyline - remember the two times they had Raw where they gave everyone refunds?
Granted, I do think this injury's legitimate. I also think that if Orton wins and faces Bryan at Mania I would be bored out of my damn mind for that feud.

I love Randy and have since 2003 (when I first started really watching wrestling), but you are right. What would the fued be? I'm a viper and you are a pure wrestler; who wants everything to be by the rules, you need some venom in your style Daniel!!! I'm gonna take your title and prove you need more passion in your style! Meh, honestly I hope Randy is just ok. He's in his thirties and has being going for years, I just hope he is ok and hopefully gets a FACE run on the main show with the belt before too long.

I don't know, I just always thought Orton was secondary on Raw, may be I just forgot because it was all about Cena/Nexus (which was really good to be fair) Sorry, Nirvana.

I think I could come up with an interesting Bryan/Orton story. First, have Bryan claim to not be scared of Randy Orton. Randy starts taking more and more steps to intimidate Bryan, beating midcard heels into bloody pulps and whatnot. Eventually Orton starts attacking faces. The crowd turns on him as he starts destroying people to try and unnerve Bryan. Teddy books him against Big Show in an effort to stop Randy, but Randy's smart enough to beat Show and begins a post-match assault on him too. Bryan runs in, the two brawl for a bit before Bryan locks on a guillotine and chokes out Orton. Invincible monster now looks as if he can be beaten. Bryan then, the next week, makes Mark Henry tap out, only to be assaulted by Orton. Security breaks them up, and Teddy makes their 'Mania match a Three Stages of Hell match - Normal, Table, I Quit.
Bryan manages to roll up Orton for the first fall after about fifteen minutes of back-and-forth, Orton later RKO's Bryan in mid air through a table after Bryan tries to diving headbutt him through a table, but Orton can't get Bryan to quit no matter what he does to him. Eventually Bryan manages to get a lucky kick on Orton to stun him, and begins to begin a beatdown on Orton, who also refuses to quit, until Bryan locks on the LeBell Lock, and Orton eventually quits. Bryan retains the title, Randy Orton's superman aura has been beaten, he celebrates with Punk later at the end of the night, etc, etc.

I went to a house show in January of 2009 where Jeff Hardy had been pulled for a kayfabe injury. Refunds were offered to anyone who wanted them.

Nobody's going to be cheering for Bryan over Orton. Orton could be attacking Rock every week and they'd still sooner cheer Orton than Bryan. And honestly, if Orton does win and face Bryan, I hope he punts Bryan straight to the midcard. Both since the Rumble winner needs a win and while I like Bryan he belongs nowhere near the main event.

I could do without Orton at Wrestlemania. And none of the potential title matches with him seem that interesting to me.

It's not a work. He was clearly hurt going into that match. I know Barrett is pretty soft with his moves, but he was Charmin tissue soft with all of his techniques in that match.

Seeing as how Mark Henry pretty much beat the fire out of him to win, and them keep, the title is an interesting idea. Maybe Orton can pull a DDP and come out with taped ribs...oh wait, Daniel Bryan is already doing that.
