What's the best wrestling company in the world right now? and/or in the USA?
Forgive me if there is an obvious answer to this question but I've solely been watching wwe for quite a while and have only recently started following chikara and tna. I know that around 2007 most people would have said ring of honour is the best in the US at least but I doubt they'd say that now. So what's the state of things these days?

The best company in the world? I might say All Japan. Their junior division is tops, and they've got a great angle going on where all outsiders are in possession of their titles. And they keep a pretty fresh rotation of heavyweight and main event guys, too.
If not All Japan, than probably CHIKARA.
Oh, and in before "WWE is the best because it's WWE, and WWE is WWE, so they win."

New Japan is my choice. Best main-event scene in the world, with the tag division being just as important and a Jr. division that just needs less Devitt having everything to be just as awesome.

The WWE.
The best mix of wrestling and entertainment. At times it can make me so angry, but when it's at its best nobody can compete with it.

Oh, and in before " WWE ROH is the best because it's WWE ROH, and WWE ROH is WWE ROH, so they win." Oh, and in before " WWE PWG is the best because it's WWE PWG, and WWE PWG is WWE PWG, so they win." Oh, and in before " WWE Chikara is the best because it's WWE Chikara, and WWE Chikara is WWE Chikara, so they win." Oh, and in before " WWE TNA is the best because it's WWE TNA, and WWE TNA is WWE TNA, so they win." That oughta hold us for a good few pages. Well, maybe not the TNA one

Right now the best company in the US is probably PWG. I'd say my local but they aren't big enough for consideration.
PWG has a great core roster, can bring in a lot of Japanese talent since they are on the West Coast, a great company vibe, and has literally something for just about everyone.

I never thought anyone would say All Japan. That surprises me greatly. I guess I've been underestimating them big time.
For me, in the US, it's Chikara and SHIMMER, though PWG and WSU are catching up to both.
Internationally, I've been enjoying NJPW as of late.

PWG, Chikara, New Japan, Dragon Gate and SHIMMER are the best in the world right now.

Going with New Japan. I'm surprised to hear that All-Japan seems to be doing quite well however.

I didn't say New Japan, because I'm finding their main event scene to be a bit stagnant. I love Tanahashi, but he's reached the "Spoiler: Tana Wins" territory for me. And I said in another thread that I'm over Shinsuke Nakamura and his latest identity crisis.
Hirooki Goto not being a top contender is bugging me more than ever, too.

Have the most fun watching CHIKARA hands down. At the moment, me too. Though I did love ROH's Final Battle too, so they'd be a very close second I think. Can't speak for puroresu since I haven't seen too much of it, especially not current stuff.

I'm going to go with New Japan as well. Its heavyweight division is stacked, it has frequent outsider participation to strengthen cards even more, and it doesn't have nonsensical booking issues like a lot of other companies. Plus, it's managed to ensure that it has a strong future and has a lot of people look strong. It's only the Tana show to get him to the point of breaking Nagata's record for most defenses. He's gonna lose his title soon. The only weakness in New Japan is its weak jr division, but a lot of companies have that problem.

I'm gonna go with Dragon Gate. Me too. They're the only company where I've consistantly enjoyed their shows for the past year.
