By definition, since it's utter bulls***- If you paid a psychic money, you were scammed. I did, but I was in a bad place in my life. So yeah, f*** psychics. Those who do it for pay are con-artists.

Right. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to blame anyone for using them, either for entertainment value as was mentioned, or in a situation like you're talking bout. Whatever someone does with their $ is their business. My dislike is solely for the charlatans that profit off that. Numero mentioned a wrestling analogy and talked about the entertainment value thing, and that's valid; I guess the main difference I have is even though wrestling is at its core carny stuff, everyone knows it's a show and thus no one's getting taken advantage of- promoters and performers are putting on a work, and fans are paying to get worked. Everyone understands that, and all are happy. With "psychics" that's not always, or even usually the case.

Yeah, I dunno if I can express my true feelings wiythout coming across as insulting. By definition, since it's utter bulls***- If you paid a psychic money, you were scammed. Though that should cover it.
