Yea, ICP are without a doubt the kings of wrestling references. Anybody can reference Hulk Hogan or Steve Austin, but it's awesome as a fan to hear more obscure wrestlers like Sabu and Norman Smiley get a shout out. Actually, I think in one year Action Bronson has them beat. Check out the song I put in the link in the first post. Out of your article, I was actually most impressed with the Savio Vega reference (never cared for The Mountie).

Speaking of Ric Flair, Cam'ron & Vado have released 2 songs called Ric Flair on some of their recent mix tapes.
Don't think there is any wrestling references in the songs however.

"I be Hulk Hogan flexin', Macho Man flexin', Juicemane, Gucci Mane, Flocka Flame flexxn'." - "Flexin' (Remix)" - Waka Flocka Flame
"Boys know I'm throwed and they steady screaming my slogan/with straps I can bear arms bigger than Hulk Hogan" - Livin' Good - Chamillionaire
"My fo-fo peace talking, sound oh so sweet talking/Do mo, mo street talking, then Stone Cold Steve Austin" - S.A.N.T.A.N.A - Juelz Santana
"Enchant a few solar panels, blast off like Roman Candles/Rap vandals, stomp your ass like Wahoo McDaniel" - It's Yours - RZA
"I freak beats slam it like Iron Sheik/Jam like a tech with correct techniques" - It Ain't Hard to Tell - NAS
"Razor Ramon on my block/Vest on with a tooth pic in my mouth." - Joe Budden
"The Four Horsemen/Arn, Ole, Flair Tully/Making it fully/Ski mask ya skull" - Takin' Pictures - Fabolous
Tony Yayo had a good reference to some WWF stars but I can't remember it currently, I know he name dropped Ultimate Warrior. Lloyd Banks did a whole verse full of references but I don't feel like going through the amount of censorship it would take to get that "board ready".

I was thinking about this a couple months ago and it amazed me how much the african american community mentioned wrestling, not even just songs but on channels like BET aswell.

You're mixing them up, Banks had a line in Bad News "I ain't a wrestler, but I'll throw ya bitch in a boston crab." Yeyo had the verse comparing a bunch of rappers to 1980's wrestlers, it was on Elephant in the Sand. And I completely forgot the Fabololus bar, that's one of my favorite songs.

My mistake, I really stopped giving a damn about G-Unit long ago. This blog has a great video including lots of the ones already posted.

I was thinking about this a couple months ago and it amazed me how much the african american community mentioned wrestling, not even just songs but on channels like BET aswell. When I was in school it seemed like all of my black friends were into wrestling, even after it stopped being really popular. The only reason I noticed it is because after like, 2001, they were the only people I hung out with at school that still watched on a weekly basis. It's been a bit of a stereotype of mine since then.

I personally made a few wrestling references before:
"Shit yea Im Ric Flair when I speak to fam cuz to be the man you gotta beat the man"
"Even Adam Copeland knows he's never EDGE-ing me I make these haters go to sleep like the kenta knee"
"I See 'Em (CM) Punks tryna jock my style, but if they walked a mile in mine they'd know im a legend B" (it actually goes with the edge lines lol)
"Im savage on the mic like a top rope elbow"
"Stay ahead of the dumb they not flowin smart they more like Bret's little brother cuz they (re) Owing (Owen) heart"
"Right here ima take the pledge to stop my Scott Hall lifestyle living on the razors edge"
lemme go look through my lyrics im sure theres more..

Jedi Mind Tricks – Blood Runs Cold – “We dedicated to cats that's been thuggin’, Vinnie Paz got more hoes then Jim Duggan.”
Death March by JMT also has a whole intro and outro sampling an Undertaker Ministry of Darkness era promo. I’m sure they’ve got more songs with wrestling references in them that I just can’t think of right now.
Lil Wayne has a song where he somehow tries to rhyme sweeter with John Cena. Speaking of Cena, his part in this video/song is my favourite ever wrestling/hip-hop cross promotion:

I found a song on an indie music site (Soundclick?) by this underground southern hip hop group called "Da Kratzs" called "Hulk Hogan on That Ho". I guess I must have been looking for songs that involved Hulk Hogan on that day. The song was filled with Hogan references from beginning to end. For instance, the song begins with "I don't think I have enough leg drops to go around!" and ends with some kind of fake Hogan promo.
Underground/unsigned hip hop is FULL of wrestling references. Searching Soundclick may result in much more surreal search results than mine.
EDIT: Take it for what you will, but this song's release date was from around the time Hulk divorced Linda.
