Hawkins and Ryder weren't that over either during their reign....even being with La Familia didn't garner them much heat from the crowd. Actually, they didn't win the titles until after La Familia splintered, making it even worse. They held the titles for about 4 months and showed up on TV probably three times in that period.

Ryder and Hawkins or Otunga and McGillicutty have to worse. Or how about Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes? Hell, Hurricane and Rosey spent their whole reign on Sunday Night HEAT fighting the same jobber team every week. Hurricane and Rosey were over though. Indeed they were over...in 2003. By the time they got the titles in 2005, they'd get a decent reaction that could only generously be called 'being over'.

The fans didn't seem to care at all about Hardcore and Cody.
Didn't they hold the belts for like half a year too, and during that time defended the titles like twice.

Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki. C'mon, stop joking around, that wasn't actually a team.

Ya, maybe if "least over" actually means "most awesome".

Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes. I mean everytime they hit the ring as a team, you could hear grass growing

Otunga + McGillicutty seem to get a lot of flack simply because Jerry Lawler didn't like them. Towards the end of their reign, they had quite good matches, and were doing all sorts of interesting double team moves that I couldn't recall seeing before. Far cry from the "tag, top rope splash" formula of Air Boom.
Both men were being judged based on how they were back in NXT, and as someone who loathed Otunga while he was on that show, he really has come ahead leaps and bounds in terms of both character and wrestling ability. He's not Mr Perfect (and neither is McGillicutty, which will always be the biggest knock against him), but he's perfectly serviceable in the ring.

They kinda just showed up on TV after Primo had been beat like a drum on Superstars in his old tag team, DZP. So that could be an issue.

Wasn't there some talk of them teaming with Hunico and forming WWE's version of LAX?

Wasn't there some talk of them teaming with Hunico and forming WWE's version of LAX? They kind of started off as a team IIRC. But then I guess Hunico became too big for his britches once he got his bike.

They're a fantastic team and always have exciting, fast-paced matches. If they're not getting over, it's because a) they've conditioned the fans to not care about anyone not in immediate focus or b) they don't have a tag division to work with and no feuds. Probably both.
There's seriously nothing wrong with these guys. They have a good look, a good theme, a good valet, and good ring skills. If WWE knew their head from their ass with booking the mid-card, or especially in this case the mid-card tag guys, they could be great champions.

But then I guess Hunico became too big for his britches once he got his bike. Epico was wrestling Sin Cara and Hunico attacked Cara... epico joined in the beatdown. Epico and Hunico wrestled a tag match of Cara and someone. One week primo came out and the they triple teamed someone (probably cara again) next week epico and primo were teaming and Hunico wasn't mentioned

I'm actually kind of glad they split from Hunico; one, making Primo and Epico randomly Mexican would be even worse when we already know that Primo is Puerto Rican, unless they tried to do an anti-Kofi with it.
That and it means they actually got unique attire and didn't have to wrestle in matching wife beaters.

Yeah, that always confused the hell out of me. Why they didn't get it when La Familia was at it's peak is beyond me, I mean Vickie was GM, Edge was WHC & Chavo was ECW Champ, so why not give them the titles at that point.

Chief Morley & Lance Storm. Did anybody care about London & Kidman's reign? I know I didn't.
