It was kind of boring, but hardly a bad Raw by any stretch. Just a let down from last week, but last week was one of the best Raws I've ever seen.
Also this may have been the first step towards Miz getting the firing he deserves, so it will always have a special place in my heart.

This Raw was just so much filler, it felt like they had the script for the go-home show done only to realise that the Elimination Chamber was two week away.

Clearly, you've jumped a shark here, Fonzie. There's a pretty clear line between understandable dislike and rabidness; you just crossed that line into rabidness.

I didn't mind Raw, but it really did seem like they rewrote the show only an hour before it started. I mean I know that the start to Wrestlemania means LOTS of buildup and promo videos, but last night's show was pushing it on videos I think.

Said it before and I'll say it again. I got through all of the guest Host Era, Little people's Court, 2009 Slammies, 900th episode, Rock's birthday celebration, 10-10-11, and 2011 Slammies. This show was fine.

Yeah, pretty much a MASSIVELY underwhelming show by any criteria. I never watch Raw live; I tape it and fast forward through the stuff I don't want to watch. What good ol' TR watched this week: - The last little bit of Bryan-Big Show Part 4,789 - Jericho's promo (the first full segment I caught, which IIRC was something like 45 minutes into the show) - The Six-pack match And... Personally, I've found a lot of recent Raws to be highly entertaining, but I managed to burn through this one in about thirty minutes flat. Just really, really filler-tastic and uninteresting all around. Although Eve screaming off-camera for approximately 30 seconds at the end before the camera FINALLY switched to the back was comedic gold. I thought it was just some shrieking harpy in the front row who was upset that Jericho won, or something.

It was fine.
Sure, the video packages were a little annoying but six of the bigger stars were a part of the main event so I can forgive them for trying to fill time, especially as I had no desire to see any of the matches we were given go any longer.

Too much padding, but the main event was fun.
I've seen far worse Raws than this.

It seems like for once they are building up a Wrestlemania title match rather then doing it the 2nd night after EC. Or hell they are building up a Taker WM match months in advance and it's already better then the build up then the one last year. You know the one last year where all they did was stare at each other silently for 5+ mins followed by pointing at the WM Sign and doing their signature taunts against each other. Plus this might be the only time we'll ever see Heel HHH again.

Truth was hurt by MIZ's screwup, an uneventful Divas match (atho I am now a fan of Tamina), Bad promo's and of course, HHH managing to put himself in at every 10 minutes or less. The only saving grace was Kane's rapeface.
So yeah, bad show, but you can't place all the blame on WWE. The crowd didn't help things at all. Shame on you OKC, shame on you.

The argument of 'don't like, don't watch' annoys some but it really works in situations like these. If Raw is boring you don't feel you have to watch it all this week. Perhaps record it so you can watch later cutting out all the repeated video packages and such.
I don't understand how everyone is collectively shitting their pants about how bad Raw was. It was a filler episode and hardly anything happened but it was by no means awful. Did you watch Raw in 2009? They clearly haven't spaced out their scheduling well enough and this week was an unnecessary week in the build-up to Elimination Chamber and so it was treated as filler by the writers. Threads like these are indicative to me of the recent high standard Raws have been, so much so that when we get a slightly below average week like this, people go insane about it.

Reign, you know me man. I'm not one to cry worst often. Yet that Raw was bad. It was basically like an overseas taping: just holdover until the next week. I can understand building toward taker/HHH and Punk/Jericho, that's fine. Yet did we need all the various video packages? I still say they could have put in another match.

What could it have been though? I mean most of the RAW roster was either in the main event, had already wrestled on Superstars or on their way to Abu Dhabi. They had two Smackdown matches using their top guys, all that was left was the NXT squad.
