{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I might be wrong in this notion. The fan in me believes that Dean only embraced the demon aspect because of continually being crapped on by Sam, questioned by Sam, and anything he's done to protect Sam has been met with bitterness, unforgiveness, and anger towards him. Plus Dean has practically taken down every big bad. I love Deanmon though Dean has and always will be a big manchild and this just enhances it

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I have a feeling Dean is playing Crowley and will end up killing him at some point. Don't you put that evil on me, don't you put that evil on us. He must be around till the end of the show.

I mean, sure, he has an immature sense of humor, but some of the other more serious "man child" traits? Not really.

Pretty good episode and drove the story in a unique direction. I see this season as more of a personal conflict between Sam and Dean than anything involving demons, angels, and ghosts. If anything I actually enjoy the focus on Dean slowly becoming this horrible, evil, and sadistic entity while still maintaining some of his humanity. {Spoiler}Was hoping they'd wait till later to have Sam confront Dean. I always felt the episodes were better, darker, and more intense when they are separated.

If they want to focus solely on Deanmon and Crowley, while only giving Sam and Cas maybe 5 minutes an episode, I won't complain. Speaking of Cas, if I have to put up with that damn angel storyline still, The Trickster/Gabriel and Zachariah better be just around the corner.

I thought Dean killed Zachariah? Death on Supernatural doesn't matter. That is very true. It only seems to apply to Dean, Sam, Cas, and Bobby. Anyone else that has died has stayed dead.

Hell yes, I want to see more of Deanmon. That is absolutely amazing acting there from Jensen. It's almost as if {Spoiler}Dean on purpose allowed himself to become a demon to protect Sam from my point of view.

lol Sam telling Dean that "you can't quit on this family" is hysterical coming from him, of all people.

Dean did have some points about how John basically dragged them into being what they are

I am going to miss the Deanmon something fierce, but it's a major credit to how well both guys acted in this episode that I'm okay with him being gone. My fear the entire Summer was that they would "SN" this and have the big twist gone in the first 2-3 episodes. I thought I would be really annoyed by it, but I got so sucked in to the episode that I was pleased with how it ended. Plus we still have The Mark itself to deal with.
I think we're heading towards a point where that Mark is transferred to Crowley and he becomes the ultimate big bad of the season.

Come back Deanmon, come back. I'm going to miss the Crowley Dean bromance.

{Spoiler}I don't think he's completely cured. What I loved about that episode is after he was cured I was waiting for him to attack Castiel. Deanmon was just intense, vicious, evil, and it was a wonderful acting performance by Jensen. So he'll definitely be back, when we least expect it, and that look he gave Sam and Castiel was very telling. He's definitely not cured.

^^ Exactly. And of course, not withtelling...of course the episode where Deanmon goes buck wild is the episode of the season where Jensen directs. And with keeping up with his easter eggs, we get two of them in the form of cameos of his family...or family-in-law. The young girl is Jensen's wife's niece and the young boy is her brother. Also to note, the other guy is the son of the King of Hell himself. I mean he actually is, not in the show. DERP!
