Only interesting thing about that is what Cena does from here. Which is why it was the right ending. Nothing changes if Cena had beaten Rock. Status quo, Cena does no self-examination, undergoes no journey. The Rock had to be worth something aside from just an Attitude Era name to sell tickets... this match needed to be something that would do something for the character of Cena after Rock was gone. At least, that's what I think. But do what exactly? Cena can't actually reclaim anything from this loss. Rock likely won't wrestle again which means Cena forever gets this loss over his head.

Great ending. Great show...then again, I missed the first half hour due to watching Brooke Hogan in 2-Headed Shark.
Now...to see where things go from here.
