Having false anger (or even real anger,) at a woman beating celebrity to arrange a worked match where you get fame and he gets money while not really getting hurt or seeing the error of his ways doesn't put you near the level of aforementioned woman beating celebrity? NO, dude. How can anyone think these things are similar? Please, I'm begging you, read your posts. I don't think they are simmilar, I think they put you on a simmilar level. Assaulting someone is bad, especially at the level Chris Brown did it. Using the infamy of Brown to elevate your own fame makes you nearly as bad. Not only do you basically reward Brown for his actions, (he'd no doubt want a lot of money to work in the WWE,) but you make light of what happened to Rihanna and any other victim of domestic abuse. It's not the same thing, but let's not pretend someone who did something like that would be some sort of hero either. Again, I do not believe absolutely that this is what Punk is doing or that this situation will lead to this or anything really. His words seem suspicious to me. If Lebron James said he was going to beat up Kobe Bryant at a NBA event, wouldn't you figure that would be at a game or somewhere where the media can watch the whole thing unfold? Why say something like, "Wrestlemania moment," if the whole thing is not about spectacle and just about some much deserved comeuppance? If it sounds like I'm saying CM Punk is scum and just trying to exploit the situation then I apologize because that is not my intention. Based upon his statement I question his motives. I have that right but will gladly eat my words if I am wrong.

"Punk randomly tweeted that he wants to "curb stomp" Brown at an upcoming WWE event because he wants Brown to "fight somebody that can defend themselves." Let's start with, "WWE Event." Why there? Why not just beat the guy up in private and let the media gradually find out about it, like Brown did to Rihanna? Because Punk was answering fan tweets about who he wanted to face at Wrestlemania. The message before the Brown one was him wondering out loud "Bryan has an opponent, now I wonder who I'll get?" and then him making the Brown comment, followed by another tweet about maybe he'd face Cliff "Domino" Compton at Wrestlemania. Sadly, even the media no sells Domino. This is something blown completely out of proportion because Brown felt the need to reply and show his wrestling knowledge is about as high as that one relative who just knows "That one guy killed his family and they all do drugs!"

For real, it's such an incredibly insane leap of logic to make that "Oh, he must mean he literally wants to have a match with Chris Brown at Wrestlemania". I think maybe somebody is a little stubborn and doesn't like to be wrong, but then again, *I* could be wrong. I don't know.

I'm glad there is a giant "shit on Chris Brown movement" now.
I'm not of the belief people can't change but I don't think people should just forget/forgive/overlook what he did either. What he did was not okay.
People have forgave others for ass moves before though like Mel Gibson so it'll come around.
And he accuses PUNK of all people of being on 'roids AND sucking with the ladies....he is so wrong.

I've had women get mad at ME for saying negative things about Chris Brown.
If you don't give a shit that he would beat your ass then I won't either.

Except your basing it on absolutely nothing. You're making a massive leap based on a small aspect of what Punk said that you've blown way out of proportion. On the other hand Punk v Jericho for the WWE title is a pretty much a lock for Wrestlemania at this point. How does that fit into your theory? I mean what about Miranda Lambert? She tweeted about it and Brown then accused her of the same thing you're accusing Punk of. Does that make her "scum nearly on the level of Chris Brown"? BTW, Punk never said he wanted to fight Brown at a WWE event. He said that curb stomping him would be a Wrestlemania moment. Do you not see the difference? "Punk randomly tweeted that he wants to "curb stomp" Brown at an upcoming WWE event because he wants Brown to "fight somebody that can defend themselves." Let's start with, "WWE Event." Let's not because that's not what HE F***ING SAID! Have you even read Punk's original tweets or just the articles which are spinning them out of proportion? First of all he didn't randomly tweet, he was answering fans about who his Wrestlemania opponent to be. Second this is what he actually said: "I would like @chrisbrown fight somebody that can defend themselves. Me curb stomping that turd would be a #wrestlemania moment." Do you not see how that's totally different?

I wonder if they set this up and Chris Brown beats up CM Punk too.
And then Vince books him to end Taker's streak.

Well I guess we bloody well disagree, don't we? Happens sometimes. You are not going to convince me of what you believe any more than I will convince you. I've no problem with that and whatever consequences it may have. If this causes me to loose respect with you or you to dislike me or think less of me than that is fine. For what ever it is worth, I don't take much offense from being disliked by people who my knowledge of amounts to little more than letters on my computer screen. And should my opinion on this matter or any other cause me some sort of misfortune, you happen to be in the vicinity and you somehow recognize me, feel free to respond in whatever manner you feel appropriate. An "I told you so," may be called for, but feel free to be creative. I don't care about convincing you of anything. I wanted to register my disgust at your flippant attitude toward domestic violence.

Yeah, and "agree to disagree" doesn't let you off the hook with besmirching a man's character based on nothing at all.

Yay I love that Chris Brown make ignorant steroid allegations towards CM Punk. I was thinking it wasn't possible for me to despise Chris Brown any more than I already do - yet the man find a way. This saddens me deeply.
