That Benoit/MVP match was the first time I felt like MVP might actually be good in the ring. Taker/Batista and Cena/HBK were also really good. MiTB was pretty good too. Still, even though I recorded this PPV, I never watch it. It just didn't have anything that great on it.

Biased because I was there ;D Taker/Batista was awesome, MitB was great, ECW/New Breed was great (crowd was dead because everyone expected New Breed to win), Benoit/MVP was very good. Cena/HBK should not have main evented that show. I was not happy with this match at all. Khali/Kane was decent, and I'm happy that people remember Umaga and Lashley were the guys who actually wrestled for Trump and McMahon. To more casual fans, that match would be trivia

3 stars. It had two good matches (Taker/Batista being the best match of WM 23 IMO & HBK/Cena even though it didn't need to be the main event) the ECW tag match was alright, Lashley/Umaga was decent for a big man match. The divas match........................pure Wrestlecrap worthy and Kane/Khali well not exactly Mr. Perfect/Bret Hart it was not super bad but not really great either, MITB.........pretty enjoyable same for Benot/MVP

It felt more like a really good 3 hour episode of Raw. Like all the matches were good and things were booked right for the most part but nothing felt to memorable and HBK vs. Cena was built up to be a exhibition match. Taker vs. Batista should of been the main event.

Cena and Michaels had a great match but their match from a few weeks later as well as the Fatal 4-Way from Backlash eclipsed it, so I rarely watch that now.
Loved that stage though.

I gave it 3 stars.
MITB was pretty good - 8/10 Kane/Khali sucked - 3/10 Benoit vs MVP was just decent, it should have been longer. - 6.5/10 Taker vs Batista was great - 9/10 ECW vs New Breed was decent but should have been given more time. - 6/10 Lashley vs Umaga was mediocre, but the aftermath was good. - 5/10 Melina vs Ashley sucked - 1/10 HBK vs Cena was pretty good, but their Raw match was way better. - 8/10

I quite like it, one of my favorite Manias, I'd say in the top ten for certain.

I was there and thought it was awesome. The only bummer was when Cena beat Michaels, as it was during the peak of my Cena hate and leaving Ford Field while his stupid music is blaring made me a sad panda

Also having it be the last time I ever saw Chris Benoit (or Umaga ftm) alive didn't help.

I ordered it live on PPV, and it's actually one of my least favorite WMs ever. The only thing great about it was the theme song. MITB-was okay Kane/Khali sucked as expected Benoit/MVP was decent Didn't watch ECW at the time so I didn't care about the tag match Divas Match...the less said, the better. Batista/Taker-I actually did enjoy the match and was glad Taker won Cena/HBK- was royally pissed that Cena won the match. I remember it being the angriest I've ever been following a wrestling match, still leaves a sour taste in my mouth lol IMO, 23 wasn't nearly as entertaining as 22 or 24.

if edge and orton had a match it would've been much better. they were too good for mitb, and the card just seemed incomplete

Then you could've had the usual six-man Money in the Bank match, a tag match that would've probably been pretty good, and ultimately the titles would've wound up with the same people Michaels and Cena dropped them to the next night.
