Message from the GM - and I quote: It was not an inactivity kill. I do those at the end of the day phase, to give everyone a chance to post.

Oh. . . well thats different then.
I read the rules on the suicide townie, and unless it was modified, they wouldn't kill themselves until the night phase of day 1. So I don't think Cody/Knailsic was suicidal. Anybody else have a clue as to why that just happened?

I'm still trying to figure out the innocent victim.
But the one thing we cannot do is a no lynch, in my opinion, isn't that what they want?
The longer we screw around, the more of an advantage the mafia have.
The mafia has two kills coming up, we need to figure out a way to determine who is the most suspicious.

Very odd.
I didn't see a post from Cody though... so I'm confused.
Looks like Khali offed him... so whomever is Khali is someone we need to weed out.
This game just got real.
I'm leaning towards a no lynch vote at the moment, so we don't decrease our town size, though.

Yeah I'm going to have to agree with everybody else
No Lynch
We don't know enough information and it would be bad if we lost an innocent person by mistake.

Well, someone has to say it. The mafia is just high-fiving all around on days where there is No Lynch. I'm not a pro at the game, only played in a couple, but if there is one thing experienced players were dead set on in the ones that I have played in, and it was the fact that "No Lynch" votes do nothing but give scum a free pass.
I'm not saying everyone who votes No Lynch is suspicious and all that. But, if this thing does end up going to the wasteful No Lynch on Day One, then I can tell you that I'll have an finger of suspicion on anyone who thinks a No Lynch scenario after that is anything close to a good idea.
Also, it seems like No Lynch days are easier opportunities for Mafia to manipulate the rest of the group and get things stirred up among the Town innocents. Paranoia and all that.

I have to agree with peg. Not being aggressive only benefits the Mafia. Not pushing people to make decisions means that the mafia can sit back(and they will) and just slowly pick us off at night. The mafia is almost assuredly killing someone each night(even worse here cause they get an extra night phase). So on the next day phase, we really won't have anything to work with except what our power role players find out at night. But if they come forward and reveal anything, they become the #1 target of the mafia the next night. The power roles are nice, but we cannot soley rely on them. So it is up to us to try to fish out as much information as possible without them. That way they can help out without having to reveal who they are. Now for the goings on thus far. There were three kills. Everyone has been looking for a single person to connect all of them together. There have been several suggestions, but most have been shot down for barely having a connection with one of the victims. Has anyone thought that there might be three different motives to the three deaths? Vince - HHH could have taken him out to take over the company. Or Vince himself could have staged it('testing our loyalty to him' ), and he's still among us. Teddy Long - John Lauranitis could have taken him out to get his GM position JR - Cole could have taken him out to get his announcers position All these people could be working together to create a "new wwe". Though, this is just a storyline theory, so don't look too far into it when I turn out to be right or wrong on it. In any event, the one thing that keeps sticking out to me after the last few pages is the use of the word 'vintage' by Connor Mackenzie. It just seemed misplaced and contrived. Looking at his other posts, he's speaking like... or references to... cole. And wether or not I am right with my theory above, I cannot think of a single story scenario where Cole would actually be on the side of the town. So... FOS: Connor MackenzieNow, I don't know if he doesn't realize that hiding who you are is important in this game or not. But it feels like he may be trying a little too hard to be targeted for lynch. And if you read the Jester role in the third party section, you would know that is how he wins the game. But I don't know if there is any way we can confirm/deny that without risking leaving a could-be mafia member in the game.

Think I only mentioned vintage once in all of the posts I've made. Rest of the posts have been speculation at most about the reasoning as to why JR would have been taken out.

My own opinion on the matter.
I can see why we'd push for a no lynch, as Day 1 has always been a tough time trying to get a feel of everyone. In the past, it's typically been Day 2 or Day 3 where we settle into the groove of things and are able to better get a feel of the players.
That said, we're losing a day phase, going straight into Day 3 if I'm not mistaken. And with that, we lose a chance to get a better feel of the players here. We have until Monday after Raw, so that time should be used to get a feel of everyone here. If we rush straight into no-lynch, we lose precious time to get a feel of everyone, plus it plays into the Mafia's hands. We don't lynch, we lose a chance to get the Mafia while giving them a free pass to knock one of us off.
All I'm saying is that with a Day phase gone, we need to maximize the Day phase that we have right now.

So, it's safe to say that Khali is part of the Mafia.
It's no problem really, we just have to wait for someone to post: HDHESWRaghdsgsafahdssagsa664166436g$%SDZHBSDHBHGDHSSHS.
..... Sorry. Just trying to brighten up the mood a bit, since someone died and all that.

I really don't want to accidentally lynch a proverbial power role... but I'm getting the reasoning on why we should lynch. Sweet n Sour, you pointed the finger of suspicion at Connor, something I was thinking about, but didn't want to outright do because I didn't think we had enough on him. But, I can see why you believe he is Michael Cole, and Michael Cole has been coming up a lot in people's suspicions. I am behind tracking down HHH and Johnny Ace as well. Nothing points to who they are though... so, if someone can role claim with either of those two, go right ahead You'll be helping out the town immensely

I'm gonna need a little more time with this one. Here's something to think about. What if the people who were killed were killed with NO motive in mind/ What if it was done to throw us off?
In the meantime..
I VOTE: To hold on to my Vote.

I'm going to try and do a little quick post here there is a big tornado warning for my area until 9 PM I probably shouldn't even be on the computer but I wanted to post something here.
I've been listening and I do agree about the No Lynch voting the fact is I didn't want to finger someone for being in the Mafia and I was waiting around to see how this would play out since no one was voting to Lynch anybody I thought why not I'll vote No Lynch as well just so I could get my vote in.
I'm thinking about changing my vote just want to wait a little awhile and see what happens it is hard to tell what everybody is during day 1 at this point its only a guess.
