I don't care if it's live or not, but having it on on Friday is just stupid. It's just not a good night at all for TV, particularly among their main demographics.

Not a bad rating considering that it was on a different night than usual and is up from previous weeks.
But man if there was ever a show that deserved a crap rating, it was that one. Aside from Christian/Orton, that was one of the worst Smackdown's I've seen in a while.

^ me either. If Smackdown was live, I'd me more inclined to watch it regulary I agree.

I would love to have it on any other day than Friday (with the exception of Saturday, that is. I am never home to watch TV on the weekends.) Live on Tuesdays would be fantastic.

It's a definite goose of the ratings. They should do one live with (mostly) their regular roster and see what happens.

If it was always live, I'd never have to hear that goddamn stupid piped in cheer again

Haha. It doesn't affect me either way. We get RAW on Thursday and SmackDown on Friday. I do like taped SmackDown, though. I like knowing how the show might go before watching it..

Personally, I'm all for live Smackdown. I have to avoid the net (this site especially) to avoid any potential spoilers. The Christian/Orton title change surprise was utterly ruined three days before I even had a chance to see it. Plus, any opportunity to get rid of those awful canned cheers is surely a good thing.
