We've all laughed at "serious" scenes in movies. When I say serious, I don't mean movies like The Room, where there was an attempt (even though the director tries to act differently). I mean legit scenes that most take seriously, and you could possibly as well, but you had to laugh sometimes.
For me, I remember laughing really hard (like alot I've realized) at the scene in Meet Joe Black, when the guy gets hit by a car, and bounces into another oncoming car. Everyone watching it acted like I was terrible, but come on...he bounced into a SECOND car.
Oh, and one that I can take seriously, but still laughed at, is probably one that could possibly offend someone. But it's the part in Malcolm X, when his dad is thrown onto the train tracks. Its the way it shot, really. Looks really weird and almost amateur. Great movie though.
Anyway, time to end this post with an ellipses...

Watched Of Mice and Men in high school and died laughing at the unfortunate ending. I mean, come on, he was in the middle of a sentence about rabbits! Needless to say, the teacher was none too pleased, but I did get the person next to me to laugh just as hard as I was.

Everything blowing up at the end of V For Vendetta.
You just *can't* set a film involving s*** blowing up to the same music Caddyshack used in its "s*** blowing up" scene and NOT expect to see a gopher run by on the screen.

The scene in American Gangster when Josh Brolin kills himself. There's something about that blood hitting the patio umbrella that I just found hilarious.

I know the "Goodbye Horses" scene from Silence of the Lambs was supposed to show how deranged and messed up Buffalo Bill was, but dammit if we didn't piss ourselves laughing at that.

In "LOTR: Return of the King" when Gollum finally gets the ring from Frodo by the volcano. He starts bouncing around and screaming "Yes." Looked like he just won the Super Bowl. I think I was the only one in the over-packed theater laughing at that.

There's tons of scenes from action movies that are meant to be serious that I've laughed at, but I know I'm hardly unique in that.
I've been told about how my mother and one of my aunts went to see Gremlins when it came out in 1986 (I think?), and that as soon as Phoebe Cates told the story of "Santa" in her family's chimney, my aunt burst out laughing. Slightly awkward.

Scream 2: When I was flipping channels, I saw this and stopped to watch, thinking it was "Scary Movie." I laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed as the girl ran from the killer, went upstairs and started throwing bicycles, popcorn machines, action figures, dirty laundry hampers, orange peels, and all sorts of nonsensical stuff, only for the goofy killer to get to the girl and kill her with the garage door or something. When I found out the moview WAS actually Scream 2, I laughed even harder.
Near the end of the Exorcist, when the girl spouts "Your momma sucks dicks in hell!!!" I laughed like crazy, thinking this was gonna be a "yo' momma" fight. "Oh yeah, demon girl? Your momma so slow it take her an hour to watch 30 minutes!"

I dunno why, but a friend and I were rolling when Alexandra Paul's character on Baywatch was freaking out when she thought she had skin cancer and was running around frantically warning beach goers about the risks of not using sunscreen. Maybe it was just really overacted.

All of Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans. The whole thing is probably one of the funniest movies of all time, especially the "His soul is still dancing!" scene. Unreal.
I guffawed out loud during a romantic scene in Transformers because it was so horribly written and performed. It was a nice change of pace from the rest of the movie, which involved my teeth grinding and lots of mumbling under my breath.
And of course, there's this:
Warning: Language and general idiocy.

I think I was the only one in the over-packed theater laughing at that. Lots of people in the theater I was in had a good laugh at this one. This immediatelty popped into mind when I saw the thread title: “I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything is soft and smooth.” – Anakin, Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones
