Nothing Punk has done since has come close to the fire of that first promo. Nothing.
Since then IMO all he does is say the same thing over and over again with various words being changed. Now that HHH has co-opted the original angle, I am still apathetic towards Punk and will likely remain apathetic.

"Should we be gentlemen or should we APOLOGIZE!?"
Both were great but I loved the venom that Vince and Punk were feeding each other. The surrealism of CM Punk bullying Vince McMahon just gave me goosebumps, and there was a therapy in seeing CM Punk bring some things that make Vince such a frustrating personality to light right in front of him.

The first one was Punk's long-building, focused breakthrough masterpiece, while the second was his "I'm on top of the world now, I can do anything I want" sprawling magnum opus. The first was his Ready to Die, and the second was his Life After Death, to use a Biggie Smalls analogy.

I particularly liked the one where CM Punk argued with HHH about text messages.
That was some pretty crazy television.

The original "shoot" promo was the best.
Overall however, all the "Punk vs Status Quo" promos have been inferior to his promos during the Punk vs Jeff feud.

The Original Shoot since it caught us all off guard.

The first. The second was good too, but it felt more phoney and elements of it could be assumed since CM Punk's gimmick was set at that point. The original, for me at least, perked my ears up that much more because of how unexpected it was.
