He's in better shape than the neckbeards who make fun of him.

I'm interested, what makes you guys think he's lazy? Is it because he doesn't do that many moves? I should remind you guys he's 6 ft 10. Not a lot you can do with that kind of height. He's also quite muscular for that height as well. Is it because he's not very good at being serious on the mic? Maybe that's just not his personality. Why should he fake it and it sound forced? He just seems to be one of those: "Here I am. Take it or leave it" kind of guys who has no desire become better or more entertaining. I felt that way back in the 90's too. He's like the polar opposite of The Miz.

So also where did the quad injury jokes come from; is he really that injury prone and has had that many quad or knee injuries? The joke comes from a Raw tag match between the nWo and 3 Raw guys (I can't remember who all was on the team, but Bubba Ray Dudley was one of them). Anyway, Nash gets tagged in, hits a big boot on Bubba, turns around to punch somebody standing on the ring apron, but instead of punching, collapses to the mat clutching his leg. One torn quad.

He can be at times. That's why I HATE the 1994 Rumble where EVERYONE in the match was lazy and it seemed like half of it was just Diesel and Crush (oh god Crush) standing around barely moving.

It's not even so much about his move set(or lack there of), it just looked like he didn't give max effort in the majority of his matches. When paired with a talented wrestler like Bret, Michaels or any other member of the Kliq, he seemed more involved & as a result, the match would be very good.

Seriously, is that Vampiro? A fake, time-traveling Sting? Suckas got to know! This was around the time Undertaker had his "Creatures of the Night" sitting ringside. Now, this guy wasn't one of the ones Kama attacked in the build-up to his Casket Match with Taker at SummerSlam, but it's still possible this guy is just a Taker fan who decided to dress the part. That's my guess, anyway. Wasn't the one that got attacked actually Shane McMahon?

He's still wrestling at an age when most of his contemporaries, the ones who weren't "lazy" or "injury-prone" and who thought they were obligated to keep on working through injuries, are broken-down wrecks.
Nash does what he needs to to keep his spot. No more, no less. That's why he's one of the smartest guys in the business.

Nash is so lazy that when the TV control is out of batteries, he calls 911 to come change the channel for him.
Except, Nash calls him Tombstone, because that was his name in WCW.

Well, Nash did brag during a shoot that the best part of the WCW purchase was he got to accomplish his life long dream of being paid to watch TV.....

I'm watching that on and off now and what a fan back then may have seen, Diesel put on a performance of eliminating a ton of guys, I see now as something that had to be done in him eliminating them ASAP as he couldn't be in the ring with many guys at once and put out a major effort and once a few guys got in the ring he got eliminated rather quickly.

Maximum pay for minimum effort may be lazy, but it's pretty God-Damned smart if you ask me.

One the laziest EVER. Had he made ANY effort, he could have been legendary. But as is, he's a selfish and lazy

I get the "work smart, less is more", though I have issues with it if that's a selective philosophy. What I mean is, if you work hard in some markets, but go "less is more" in others, it really maens "I don't care, but I'll put a spin on it". With Nash, though, I think there are physical limitations that have been mentioned that make him have to get more from less and not hurt himself.
However, do I think the man is lazy? Well, I'm a student of body langauge, and I've noticed that in matches where Nash goes over you see more animation in his facial expressions, but if he's not then the "I don't want to be here" is evident. Is it lazy? I don't know if it qualifies, but it's ego-driven effort if that makes sense.

Dude is in amazing shape for his age. He must bust his ass in the gym working through injuries, so I don't think anybody can call the man lazy.
Have any wrestlers ever called him lazy in the ring? Whether its shoot interviews etc. I can't think of any complaints, ever. And remember, the guys knees were wrecked before he even entered wrestling.
