It's my favorite Wrestlemania and my favorite event of all time. Just love everything about it!

It's one of my favorite WMs and the first one I ordered. I loved how every title was on the line and every match had a purpose. Absolutely loved the tag title, european title, IC title, and WWF title matches. This is a show that was better because of the storylines surrounding it and not the big match atmosphere.

No. Wrestlemania 27 Wrestlemania 6 Wrestlemania 8 Wrestlemania 4 Wrestlemania 17 Was that a typo, or do you really consider last year's Wrestlemania to be the greatest of all time? Also, was that a typo or do you really consider Vince's bloated world title tournament to be considerably that much better than the Wrestlemania the year before? Allow me to explain. The list wasn't in any particular ranking or order. I included 27 because I was there live so it will naturally always be among my favorites. If I watched it on PPV I would probably think it sucked along with the rest of you all. As for the "bloated tournament," I love tournaments and I wouldn't be opposed to doing a WWE title tournament again for a Wrestlemania. Of course, both top belts would have to be merged for that to work, but that's another subject altogether.

I liked the concept and it was something different at the time. Now that Savage is gone we have an event that can always be "his night".

Totally in my top 5 simply for the overall show (not a match or moment in particular). The flow is just perfect. Really fun Mania to watch.

No where near the top 5, for me... not a single match that I would call great, but a few that were good. A LOT of Attitude era retardation, but, there is some real gold on any show from that era... fun watch, but not one of the best Manias.

You can't really compare it to more recent Manias. It was great for what it was, but they didn't try to make Mania SUCH a massive spectacle back then. It was the biggest show, they had some celebs, big title changes happened, but they didn't have to have like 12 epicly great wrestling matches in a 200,000 seat arena filled with intricate lighting and pyrotechnics. It was a really great show and a perfect representation and use of the roster at the time, with a no-brainer, predictable, and awesome ending. All the stars aligned, and they just rolled with it.
If the writing/booking was better now, Wrestlemania would be quite different because they wouldn't have to overcompensate with the BIGGEST DAMNED EPIC MOMENT OF A LIFETIME BAH GAWD feel to it, they could just a build a hot angle and sell the show.

My friend was there live and told me that it was one of the best events he's ever witnessed live. As someone who watched it live on PPV, I was blown away at how good this card was top top to bottom. There wasn't a boring match, and the main event was awesome considering all of the elements in it and the courageous performance of Shawn Michaels who could barely hold upright because of his injured back. The show felt like a new era had begun, which was their intentions obviously.

It was great being there then spending hours following the wrestlers around the casinos after.
