A few weird things i never hear brought up these days... *A backstage segment involving christian, jericho, the dudleys and a sportsbag containing a tub of A** Cream?? (im sure it featured in their later match also. *Undertakers snake-skin pants. I think he wore these's at a survivor series title match? where kurt's bro interfered? Those two are talked about all the time. Taker's Godfather trousers looked ridiculous and "Ass Cream" makes me laugh.

Other AWF Memories: Main-events were things like "Gentleman" Chris Adams vs. The Terrorist. (The Terrorist was like the Cuban Assassin. Jobber to the Stars. And wasn't as fun or cool as the Cuban. I guess any militia member in camoflage pants was supposed to be an American threat.) Or Charlie Norris & Konnan 2000 (Scott Putski) vs. two scrubs. Yes, they would actually promote stuff like this for NEXT WEEK! As in "Charlie Norris & Konnan 2000 will main event NEXT WEEK!" (Never told you who they were wrestling, just told you they were main-eventing.) Nailz was there. Commissioner Jim Brunzell "fined" him once for not heeding the referee's 5-count and getting DQed. Blacktop Bully (our good friend Barry Darsow) was there too. He had a valet that looked like Jimmy Valiant's "Big Mama". (Big hair, even bigger rack - looked like a truck stop waitress, dressed like a truck stop hooker.) Bully would scream at fans, "Don't Look At Mah Honey!" over and over again. His finisher was the Breaker 1-9 Armbar. Koko B. Ware was a HUGE DEAL. They were only like 8 years behind. Tony Atlas, an upcoming superstar! (I made a correction about the tag champions in my previous post.) It was so AWA in a way. Mick Karch on commentary. Ken Resnick in interviews. Terry Taylor (then a heelish Lord Alfred Hayes) on commentary. It was so bad...yet I enjoyed it. Wonder who owns this footage?

I remember a lot of stuff not many talk about because it happened in Memphis: -Fake Razor Ramon and Fake Diesel actually feuded in the USWA while still teaming in the WWF. -There was a New Rock n' Roll Express at one time with Robert teaming with his nephew Jason Gibson. -Memphis did multiple invasion angles over the years with Texas, GWF, WWF, SMW, and ECW. -Screech from Saved by the Bell feuded with Jerry Lawler over The Kat in one of the later incarnations of Memphis Wrestling. -Oh and the current World Heavyweight Champion spent his early days in Memphis and filmed this weird vignette: Whoa, he even did the Regalplex?! Nice! I miss these days, and AmDrag's original gimmick. Good memories.

GC: "Oh ho ho ho, Christian, you been a naughty naughty little boy. But I even have a gift for you." Christian: "Ass cream?" GC: " Now with 35% more ass! (snort)"

At KOTR '96, during an interview, Brian Pillman calls Jim Ross a "stupid son of a bitch", for some reason.

I went to the October 11th 1999 RAW at the Georgia Dome (yea, the Attitude era sold out the f***ing Georgia Dome with RAW). There were quite a few interesting things that I never see anybody talk about. At the beginning of the show, there was a brawl between HHH and Austin that also involved JR and Chyna for some reason, and before HHH left the arena he stood on the stage with Austin's music playing and said "Austin! This is bulls***!" or something along those lines. Jericho and Curtis Hughes faced The Headbangers! HHH and Chyna fought Austin and JR. Jeff Jarrett interfered and knocked out Chyna with a toaster, put her in a laundry bin and rolled her out of there. Rock and Mankind fought The British Bulldog and Val Venis in the main event (yea...seriously). The match ended when Rock hit the Rock Bottom on Bulldog onto a tray covered in dog s***. Anyway, THIS is the thing that I'm surprised nobody ever talks about. At the end of the show, Austin and Triple H were still brawling backstage when Austin threw HHH into a room with a rattlesnake in it. HHH showed up on Smackdown with his face all screwed up looking (implying that the snake bit his face) but later he beat down Austin and ripped off some sort of mask to reveal that he was never hurt. It was really bizarre. he also no-sold getting dropped by a forklift whilst being trapped in a car. showed up the next week with just a band-aid. either the bookers were being stupid or they really wanted Trips to look invincible. I'm inclined more towards the former.

Al Snow suffered brain damage and every week he'd come out as a different one of his failed gimmicks. one week he came out dressed as Leif Cassidy, and another time he came out as Avatar before snapping back into Al Snow and wondering why the hell he was out there dressed so stupid.

I believe that when he came back, he was using his "The Game" theme for the first time.

At KOTR '96, during an interview, Brian Pillman calls Jim Ross a "stupid son of a bitch", for some reason. Yeah, I remember that.....then he gave a promo about how he's gonna "rape, pillage, and plummage the wwf". I was like wtf, and then Austin's music started playing right as he ended his promo.

He didn't start using the Motorhead song until January 2001, when he returned after a one-month absence following the 6-man Hell in a Cell match at Armageddon 2000. Funnily enough, he was out longer following that match than he was after being dropped from the forklift at Survivor Series 2000.

If I remember it was from the aftermath of Bossman feeding him his dog Pepper.

Steve Austin telling Ricky Steamboat "You saved yourself one hell of an ass kicking!" at WCW Fall Brawl 1994. If nothing else, watch this for Gary Capetta's reaction.
Billy Kidman talking backstage at InVasion, claiming he would "show everyone why they holler X-Pac sucks!" and getting a huge face pop despite being a WCW wrestler.

Bluedust seems to be one I don't hear people talk about a whole lot,I found it to be hilarious. I loved that angle. St Valentines Day Massacre was the first PPV I ever saw all the way through, I got a tape from a friend a few weeks after it happened.

The fat lady from Summerslam 99 that Billy Gunn brought to the match with the Rock.
When she comes in, pulls up her skirt for Billy to push Rock into her butt and Rock pushed Billy and JR goes "Rock just shoved Billy Gunn into that large woman's ass."
I wonder who she was and if she felt bad she was being used because of her status of a large woman. JR seemed so politically correct in not calling her fat.

I remember a hardcore match with Bossman and I want to say Holly, where Holly smashed a candy jar into Bossman's face and really f'ed his eye up. It was so gross, Bossman's eye was like all red, purple, and green for a few weeks after.

Does anyone remember Brakus? 1997, he was hyped as the German Wrestling Machine or something along those lines, had a few vignettes and an article on him in the WWF magazine, always mentioning that despite being a foreigner he loves America and despises the Hart Foundation's anti-USA bit. He's never seen until Brawl For All in '98 where he loses in the first round, goes to ECW, jobs to Taz and is never mentioned or seen again.
